Normal 3g mifi modem only RM 200 with umobile

Wow...quite expensive...i mean, i just bought the umobile broadband (wasted money), and it doesn't have wi-fi function is pretty much turned me off. Spending another Rm200 for the same umobile connection is really taxing for me.

Oh ya, there is something I want to know about the Umobile broadband prepaid plans.

Let's say that if I uploaded Rm128 plan and get 20GB Quota for 30 days, and I spent all the quota within 15 days, so if I reload another Rm128, what will happens? Will I get the 20GB quota or I need to wait for 30 days expiration?

No, you will need to wait until quota expiration. You are only eligible to purchase booster until it's next renewal.

So, I guess that reload only works for mobile plan (Rm28 for 500mb and free minute calls) then? Because I did renew the mobile plan prepaid plan for my smartphone in same month.

What a pity...In the end, I still have to conserve when it comes to quota usage for the broadband plan.

ya only UMI plan can RENEW or REPLACE with another UMI plan before expired

but BROADBAND PACKAGE is not available, if u are using in the modem, try visit me for RM 100 for the 20gb package

Too bad that I am not from KL, and I assumed you were from KL?

Another question, since I bought the Umobile modem that comes with 5GB quota together few days ago, is it possible for me to activate the 20GB broadband once I finished the free 5GB ( i already used up 2gb) or I really need to wait for 30 days?

Currently, I indeed have 2 Umobile sim card (one for my smartphone and another came together with the purchased modem).

Rm100 is indeed cheap. So how am I supposed to deal with you? Give me some of the option to consider.

So, once i top up to get 20gb package, I can't longer to top up until the due date (30 days)?

So, can anyone tell me why Umobile has such a better connection than P1? Is it because there are not many users in Umobile compare to P1?

What is off peak quota means? Just found it when I am checking my Umobile's broadband quota.

Does this mean I have 10mb quota technically? or it was the same 5 GB, except it just a list to show that I am using mobile at off peak time?

Funny. Is it supposed to be normal?

When I am using 5GB quota, I get at least 2mb to 3 mb speed and now when I am using 20GB quota, the speed that I get was around 1mb++.

Currently is happy with Umobile Broadband service. Really hope that the quality won't be declined after more and more people sign up on Umobile.

P1 disappointed me...and I hope Umobile won't.

I completely don't trust anything that has "Wimax" nowadays.

What is the minimum expiry time for Umobile number to remains usable?

I mean, I have 2 different umobile numbers, and one of them I haven't reload it since last month. The reason why I getting 2 is because of the Umobile Broadband.

The current number that I am using for broadband is going to depleted in term of quota and it is not even 30 days. So I am thinking to reload my other number for another 20 GB Quota. So, will this going to work for my 2nd number because I am really afraid that the 2nd number is not longer usable.

How do one change IP with Umobile? Pull the modem out of the PC? or mere disconnect will do?
