Then you should look at JBL 9.1 with true wireless rear speakers

That is around rm4k.. Over my budget


Best i can get for q930b is 2.6k, q800b 2.2k

Each rear speaker has own power plug and they connect wirelessly to the soundbar. I think the cable is around 1.5m length.

I have the same problem as u.

How far is the wall behind the sofa?

Mind to share link for Q800b selling for 2.2k & 930b for 2.6k ?

Do let us know after reviewing the sound bar.. It's on my shortlist as well since my sofa also close to wall so no point getting the Q930B with the rear speakers... Also 800B is a step up from 800A as 3.1.2 vs 5.1.2 system..

Some update, if you owned samsung hwa650 soundbar, the 9200s surround speaker is compatible with the soundbar.
I already test it myself.

Better buy masterplug extension and you can pull from your TV plug

I ended up with the q800b. So far so good. Just not quite sure whats the best setting for the best sound yet. And got some minor lip sync issue with Astro ultra box running thru ARC

I follow RTINGS suggested settings like below

My cheap-O free gift given as bundled is already enough to satisfy my average consumption already. LOL.
Now a day, the tech is quite advanced already. Cheap one already enough liao.

Got few more settings other than that needs to be configured

- Woofer level
- Voice/Bass Enhancement on or off
-Spacefit Sound / AVA on or off
- Channel level for Center, Side, Front Top

Voice & bass enhancement OFF
SpaceFit ON AVA OFF
I increase a bit for Side speaker level

Hi, I see most are discussing about Samsung, LG and Sony.
Anyone bought Yamaha YAS 209?
Anyone bought the newly launched Edifier B700?
Eyeing on this 2 models now as my budget is less than 2k

Don't know if reading it correctly, the power output seems like low. 7 units of 15w+70w woofer that is not even 200watt. Other brands says higher power.

interesting attempt by Edifier but very hard to find reviews.... Not sure is the product first launched in Msia because can't seem to find any reviews from other countries also. Even Edifier website don't have the product details

RM 1.9k would put it in the same price range as LG SN8Y and Samsung Q600B.... both reputable products

This is what I gathered, correct me if I am wrong.

LG SN8y 440watt, 3.1.2 channel
Samsung 360watt, 3.1.2 channel

Edifier ???? watt, 5.1.2 channel
