For around RM2k you can get the LG SN8Y. I used to own the SL8Y and had no complaints. It's a decent soundbar with all the necessary tech like dolby atmos, etc. The only reason I sold off the soundbar was to upgrade to the SN9Y.

The person who bought my SL8Y is happy with his purchase and so far it has performed well despite being around close to 4 years in age.

Anybody has used soundbar below rm300. Example Vinnfier hyperbar 303m ?

Not really. More due to aesthetic reasons as I hate having wires run around my living room.

How do people deal with the issue that the sound volume for YouTube video is much louder than those from Netflix ? Manual adjust it each time when changing app ?

Manual adjust each time is the only solution. Actually all sound is kind of equal on louder except Netflix, Netflix is much softer and it is like that always.

Nothing can do about this unless Netflix decide to tune it louder same as others.

This is nothing to do with SoundBar, this is Netflix issue.

Anyone here tested/bought IKEA's Sonos bookshelf speaker?

Went to IKEA earlier and saw this. Didn't manage to connect to it to test it though. Somehow the Wifi connection just doesn't cut it.

can't find any review on the Q600B since its quite new. this thing good? i notice those Q Symphony crap only works with newer TVs. I have an old TV, will that makes it not worth purchasing?
If budget permits, will the Q990B much better compare to Q600B? I stay in a small studio house though. if the 990B is overkill and will disturb neighbours, i guess i will stick with 600.

Any experts here can advice where to place the subwoofer of a soundbar system?

Example: If I have a cabinet with this design below, should I place it on the cabinet (place of the plant with white vase) or just place it directly on the floor? There are many confusing suggestions on google…

My two cents. Try it. Whichever works, it would be the best.

On the table the worry is if the table not solid enough, then it causes additional other vibration noise. Can also try with the floor. But there isn't any suitable place on the floor, it becomes an obstruction to traffic or a protrusion.

I am currently using the Beosound Stage by Bang & Olufsen, a unit that I purchased exactly a year ago. So far I am very satisfied with it. I did a brief review of the unit as per below:
