1. Quality is good, excellent to my likings, make sure you dont use Bluetooth nor Airplay to stream, link your spotify account to it and inside spotify apps select the output as your Soundbar. The song will stream directly from the soundbar, quality is noticeably better!

2. Movie is better and immediately you can feel the bass when watching netflix opening, it gives u the cinema feel. I played some movie and theres scene of door opening, when my friends were with me they were shocked and look at the TV direction and it felt like a real door opening / closing. But for music, as long as the sound source is good, u wont be disappointed.

3. I did not notice this cuz my stand has not arrived, I just placed the 2 speaker beside the main sound bar now.

4. I leave all the settings to default and turn on the soundstage mode. That is good enough, meanwhile I connect using ARC to TV, therefore I only use TV Remote to control the volume or Spotify apps to control the volume most of the time.

I got Samsung Q950a, to be honest don't expect much from height channel with bounce but rear speaker is important.

I realized the rear speakers will make the living room very messy, as behind the sofa seats is not the partition wall, it is the entrance walk way.

If I insist on putting rear speakers right behind the sofa seats, I will have to put them on stand and there will be wiring running around ( power cable for example ). Or I put the rear speakers at the wall, but it will be much further from the sofa seats .....

I'm using something like this seller, but I selected the original factory from Samsung option. So far looks good and screwed in well. The base is also quite heavy so I like it.

Super short, because I mati mati wanted the cable the travel inside the pipe, so by the time it came out that's about the distance it can connect to my wall on the leftmost plug you see without over stretching the cabling.

I just went for the Q990B and I'm loving it. It's a great price. Currently in the US it's going for $1500 USD. I bought mine from Harvey Norman at RM3,499 (asked them to price match with Shopee). Not sure if there are still stock lying around but you can call a few branches near you to ask. SenQ/Senheng has stock as far as I know, but not sure if they can price match with Shopee, worth a shot.

I have not encountered any of the rear speaker/subwoofer connection drop issues, thankfully. It would be ideal if you could place the rear speakers within line of sight of the soundbar. Not sure if your wifi router being close would affect it due to interference but it also goes without saying that you should have strong wifi connectivity from where your speakers are to avoid possible issues.

Play around with SpaceFit Sound/AutoEQ, and try the adaptive and surround sound modes to see which you like most. I'm currently using surround mode.

Amazing value for money considering that I was looking at the Sonos Arc and it would cost me RM11k+ to get a matching setup with a sub and rears! Insane price difference for similar/better (subjective) quality. Go for the Q990B and you won't regret it!

if u got wall on the side then put the speakers on the left and right side wall. no need put behind the sofa. not optimal but thats the best choice

Ok Managed to get from desa home he said last new set. So far test late night cannot blast but the surround is very good. Today might try atmos effect.
