what type of health effects? btw i've heard of such a diet before. if u look it up on bb.com its called CHA diet by team scivation marc lobliner. i downloaded the pdf and it says that it needs some time to get used to cause your body will start to get sluggish as it's not used to getting energy from fats rather than carbs.
how abt glycogen stores and insulin spikes?
so in conclusion its safe to just maintain a low carb diet to get more ripped right? what other side effects would it include? i.e. sluggishness, ketosis, etc.
sorry for shooting so many questions. thanks again very much
That fat induction diet was based on 80-90% fats. The author didn't mention what adverse effects. He suggested just a few days would do as precaution. When you go on a low carb and hi fat diet, the body will become sluggish. It may take about 2-3 weeks for the body to adjust to it.how abt glycogen stores and insulin spikes?

We got plenty of fatty acids, there's no need glycogen. I dunno about the insulin spike theory on this diet. According to record an amateur competitive bodybuilder gained 25lbs of muscles in 6 months or so while on LC HP HF diet. That already contradicts with the insulin spike theory.
I did gain about 10 lbs of muscles on this diet, so did my friends.
According to researchers, there are some cultures in the world eat a very high fat, high protein and low carb diet and found they were virtually free from any health problems. The Eskimos eat mainly whale and seal meat for 9 months during winter. No carbs at all. They live up to old ripe age.
Some died young because of the harsh living condition.
Thanks for shooting these questions. I need to brush up too. My brain has gone rusty.
