Usually the wife would be the inheritant of the husband's assets and liabilities unless stated otherwise by the way of a will or any other method approved by the courts of Malaysia.

So credit card debt is a form of liability right?

Let's say my dad do not have a will . Who is the administrator?  hmm.gif

can be your mum, u or your siblings to take care of the estate/debts etc, can also appoint 2 people as administrator. don't appoint a lawyer/outsiders as an administrator as most likely will try to con you as they get certain percentage of it

want to know more about interest late payment.

statement date is every 27th.
if balance to pay is 1000, payment is calculated based on credit transaction or the actual balance todate (20 days no interest).

eg. i pay RM1000 within 20 days after statement date, and using 500 more within that period after paying. balance before that period finish, 500. they will charge interest or the transaction will be calculated in the next statement?

eg2. i pay 900, then use 500. balance is 600(100 + 500). payment for prev statement is calculated as 400 or 900?

Assuming your starting balance is zero and you do not pay in full the statement amount before the last day, you lose the 20 days interest-free period benefit and will be subject to interest on all existing and new transactions until the amount is fully repaid before the next statement date.

the lower the better... because dsr is to show how much you use your income to service your debt installments.

dsr calculator is just a rough guide only, because different bank have their own credit guidelines which differs greatly from one to another.

you can try as a rough guide but not all bank follow the same credit guidelines, which is why one bank may reject your application but another bank approve it.

although i didn't own both, but i would say both are separate cl. first reason is because conventional and islamic have always been a separate entity. second because mbb's and rhb's confirmed separate.
