HSBC is or used to do it. I had had one credit card applied from them using such method a few years ago. I had to to sign a few forms but i did not have to pay any stamp duty.

Anyway idea what is the minimum FD amount required to apply for a HLB credit card ? I have been getting conflicting information from Hong Leong Bank staff. One staff even told me you need RM20,000 to apply for a Wise VISA Gold card.

seems like it...according to my faint memory. need to check with cimb what is the new policy as it was 5 years ago when i was chasing for cimb vs. i didn't proceed as the final amount was high.

Maybank confirm no need to pay stamp duty.
Minimum fd place is 5k
Other like hlb cimb pbb hsbc what is the minimum request. But as my mind hsbc no more fd for apply cc

minimum i was told by credit card officer from HLB Rm3000 for classic and for gold rm6000

Could confirm MBB no need stamp duty.

I placed quite a sum for 2 cards from MBB. Got it the next day.

10k for Plat, 30k for Infinite.
