I currently have 4 cc from 3 banks (one of them is mbb2card)
I want to get another from cimb cause of that cash rebate card and rm150 that they are giving out for online applicants. Since i'm currently debt-free and will continue to be, for at least one more year, so getting another cc shouldn't hurt right? Well, even if i want to get a tiny car loan (in case I change job and need a car then) should be ok as long my income can support? Note, i have always settled my cc in full. But my current exposure is at 60% of my annual income. I dont know if that's high.
really itchy and really want that money from Cimb.
Can i be hand itchy and apply for 5th cc from 4th bank?
Edit:chances of needing a car is low. If it matters. Places i work are in town. I hate driving

I did not use my Hong Leong Bank Wise card for past year. And I'm asked to pay the Annual Fee before cancellation. Is that right? As I understood from previous banks, I don't have to pay the fee if there is no transaction in current financial year.

Technically, u have to pay AF as long as your Card was valid, i.e. not cancelled. However, u should write in and ask that the AF be waived as u did not use the Card and u overlooked to cancel If HLB insist that u pay, say that u will complain to BNM / FMB

If it's more than a month, then it's our responsibility to dispute/cancel the card once we got the statement. Otherwise, it will incur penalty charges for 'late payment', etc.

I have been using my Citibank Clear card for 3 years and each year i was given a waiver on the annual fee after i call in to request for it.
But surprisingly this year they refuse to waive the annual fee, so i have cancelled the card.
Question, can i still call/write in to make a report and ask them to refund me back the annual fee + govt service tax that was already charged?
26 Aug Govt Service Tax charged 12 Sept Annual Membership Fee charged 22 Sept Card cancelled

I had my streamyx autobilling charged on 8 Sept, but no other transactions after that so i guess i'll have to pay for the service tax, will try calling them to check if i can get the annual fee refunded.
