I have been using my Citibank Clear card for 3 years and each year i was given a waiver on the annual fee after i call in to request for it.

But surprisingly this year they refuse to waive the annual fee, so i have cancelled the card.

Question, can i still call/write in to make a report and ask them to refund me back the annual fee + govt service tax that was already charged?

26 Aug Govt Service Tax charged
12 Sept Annual Membership Fee charged
22 Sept Card cancelled

as long u didn't make any transaction after the fees were charged u can just deduct these 2 amount and keep calling them to close the account

Thanks alot for your advice. I had my streamyx autobilling charged on 8 Sept, but no other transactions after that so i guess i'll have to pay for the service tax, will try calling them to check if i can get the annual fee refunded.
