Here's another WOW from me.
This time, it's a Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB Kit [2X2GB] PDC24G6400LLK!

This ram can do 1066MHz @ 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2Volts! shocking.gif
And what's better is that this ram actually supports EPP Profile which some people call SLi Ready. wub.gif

Here's two way for you to find your answers:

http://www.google.com

It's easy isn't it? wink.gif
I don't do spoonfeed, easiest way to learn is by googling.

This will be the third WOW from me. laugh.gif
It's OCZ again. wink.gif

OCZ NVIDIA(R) SLI(tm)-Ready Edition DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB Kit [2X2GB]

This ram can do 1066MHz @ 5-4-4-15 @ 2.2Volts. wub.gif
And with EPP Profile, it's just perfect when it has SLi Ready too.

Actually... how do i differentiate between the Rev B and Rev C? I've seen some Kingston with these Hynix FP-Y5 recently and thought of grabbing them. Am actually just looking for something that can do 400MHz @ DDR2-800 with possibly 4.0-4-4-12 timings, although i wouldn't mind if they can do DDR2-1000 with 5.0-5-5-15 timings. laugh.gif

if you look at the chip below, which is a patriot 667 value rams DDR2

Notice these 4 lines

Hynix KOR <=== Brand (duh!)

HY5P512812C <=== The last alphabet will tell u what rev it is

FP-Y5 711AA <=== chip model and 711AA is batch code, try to match this with your second stick

MTFxxxxxxxxxxxxx <=== wafer code, match this last after matching the above 3 for max oc potential

yeah all hynix fp-5ys can do 4-4-4-12 @ddr 800. not a problem coz most of the hynix chips kingston uses for their ddr2 800 models are ddr2 667 versions but just OCed to ddr2 800. but only revisions A,B and C i notice can go up to 1000, at cl5. from my tests.

Bryan bro becoming expert ah:P hehehe.

If you ask me, the OCZ sli is better because it's proven to be stable at 1066MHz @ 5-4-4-15 @ 2.2Volts while there's no proof that the Patriot can be stable at 1066MHz.

Offcourse the real winner is OCZ ReaperX. But then, the price differ so much, where the OCZ ReaperX is RM2XX more than the Patriot EP & OCZ SLi. sweat.gif

Great info. Coz i saw some Hynix FP-Y5 the other day and thought to grab 2 sticks for my PC upgrade. Then again, it's DDR667 selling at the price of DDR800 at Lowyat. blink.gif

problem with kingston PCB is that its using a normal 3layer pcb, where as some rare brands use 6 or 8 layer brain power pcb's for value rams (its the same stuff as OCZ XTC gold edition and various other performance kits) and from guinea pig tests from 2 other forumers, it does make a difference in ocing haha

conclusion is that, performance rams like what shawty mentioned, are good if you are willing to spend. but if you dont have much dough to burn, then value rams but handpicked, will be your next best bet

Oxburg, Patriot value rams are crappy rams for overclocking. There's no point for you to feed 2.3V to those which only run 4-4-4 timing at less than DDR2-800. You'll only shorten their lifespan that way.
