1100mhz 5-5-5-15 and 2.28v is not high la =_= i would call it average. check what can balistix do?
*
yes but remember my chipset is promos. not the micron chipset, ballistix have the best overclocker chips in the mass market now. So having to get it at my result is quite good. apalah abang, never support me also.

mind you, not all dreamer, i think the team value or some batches with elpida are worth getting, my last elpida worked at ddr2 960 with a cl5 from ddr2 667. Now its the matter of trying your luck, even with the famed 6E-E elpidas or fp-5y hynix are getting the crunchies now

hehe, i know. infact before the bios update i did on the ip35-e, i did this same reading at 2.18V, lol. After the BIOS update it changed. but anyways. I am looking at pushing it to 1200Mhz, its got a lot of potential. when i have my next team elite...

there is an option in the bios.. at the softmenu(for the E-series). Its called the DRAM:FSB ratio. i dont think u can unlink it due to the FSB architecture.

well the limit of ram as far i know is 2.5V la, but of course u can go on suicide mission on anything above that. By the way, u cant run on that timings coz your Vdimm is lowered.

x*1GB DDR2-800 4 4 4 12 2.2V

this is the tested Vdimm considered stable for use in your ram. If u lower the Vdimm to 2.1V then u r basically suffocating the ram. So it wont boot up

yeah all hynix fp-5ys can do 4-4-4-12 @ddr 800. not a problem coz most of the hynix chips kingston uses for their ddr2 800 models are ddr2 667 versions but just OCed to ddr2 800. but only revisions A,B and C i notice can go up to 1000, at cl5. from my tests.

Bryan bro becoming expert ah:P hehehe.

but remember that it will take u months to pick up the gems eh. well bryan here, is a sifu in patience hehe, he can wait, not like me haha. Yes if u have the money, waste no time and get performance ram.. and play.

if its elpida, it should be elpida 6E-E. but yeah if ur lucky u will be able to OC it to about ddr2 960.. if u have the current batch of hynix.. then can forget about it lor.

well for a kingston ram, u can use 1.96V to go on 4-4-4-12 at ddr2 800.. i think that voltage(2.0V) is alright for a nice 4-4-4-12 @ ddr2 800:) try it..

oh well.. im not giving you the same advice as Sky.. ill say that overclocking needs a purpose and requires responsibility of the overclocker to know basic rules of overclocking.
1.Know what youre overclocking, the do's and dont's
2.There is always a limit to everything

For rams, you can try any voltage between 1.8V-2.2V, this range doesnt require additional cooling. And yes like every other product the lifespan of it goes down due to unnatural clocking and heating(due to overvolts)

dominator is a good ram for oc-ing. But its aimed for different markets. We here cant afford it thats all. So we go for cheaper alternatives lor. Team Xtreem is excellent.

only the dominator series are excellent, but maybe 5% of LYN population can afford it. So being smart consumers we go for cheaper stuff which have the same chipset lor.. Its not the branding. Its the chipset and bandwidth capabilities la. And Team and Crucial have this chipsets on their ram priced 1/2 of what corsair is offering.

BUT yes i agree with aoi that corsair does top benchies since most of the times, big time reviewers(bought) are using corsair products.
