There's already a ddr2 thread , with FPY5 results in it.

Juz giving usome infos, fpy5 rev B can take tighter timings, 5-5-5-15, the C revision is best at 5-6-6-15. Urs is probably C revision, so adjust it accordingly

well i got mine (C revision) to ddr2 1100

Actually... how do i differentiate between the Rev B and Rev C? I've seen some Kingston with these Hynix FP-Y5 recently and thought of grabbing them. Am actually just looking for something that can do 400MHz @ DDR2-800 with possibly 4.0-4-4-12 timings, although i wouldn't mind if they can do DDR2-1000 with 5.0-5-5-15 timings. laugh.gif

Notice these 4 lines

Hynix            KOR                <=== Brand (duh!)

HY5P512812          <=== The last alphabet will tell u what rev it is

FP-Y5    711AA                    <=== chip model and 711AA is batch code, try to match this with your second stick

MTFxxxxxxxxxxxxx              <=== wafer code, match this last after matching the above 3 for max oc potential

Great info. Coz i saw some Hynix FP-Y5 the other day and thought to grab 2 sticks for my PC upgrade. Then again, it's DDR667 selling at the price of DDR800 at Lowyat. blink.gif
