Definitely the D9GMH will OC higher but in terms of real-world app, it won't be noticeable.

My crucial ballistix DDR2-800:
DDR800 @ 4-4-4-8 @ 1.8v - bootable into windows but never tried stability (because not planning to run so low!!!)
DDR 950mhz @ 4-4-4-4 @ 2.1v (was running 24/7 at this setting before changing to the setting below)
---- note 4-4-4-4 and NOT 4-4-4-8!!!  laugh.gif
DDR 1051mhz @ 5-4-4-8 @ 2.1v (was running 24/7 at this setting)

Why not 2.2v? Hehe.... don't want to run so high.....

Now running crucial 10th anni, not as good as my ballistix, probably not a good batch...  sad.gif (See my sig)

What mobo? You can google the information or go to their website to check the specs. IINM, a lot of mainstream mobos support DDR2-800 but can OC higher than that.

if that's d case i think i'll just stick to my d9dcl, but what i like bout d9gmh is d bling bling.... balistix tracer... i rike... drool.gif

@ general_odin:
get yaslef a pair of DDR800 will do if d price diff is big between DDR800 & DDR1066. most mobo that are c2q compatible support DDR1066. correct me if i'm wrong. wink.gif

There's already a ddr2 thread , with FPY5 results in it.

Juz giving usome infos, fpy5 rev B can take tighter timings, 5-5-5-15, the C revision is best at 5-6-6-15. Urs is probably C revision, so adjust it accordingly

well i got mine (C revision) to ddr2 1100

is it wise to get the ocz gold pc6400 xtc 2x1gb? I am not a hardcore overclocker, i just hope i can reach fsb 400mhz and the ram remain stable. And is the ram faster than normal value ram? Is it significant?

There was some discussion on this when Ace posted on this topic here : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/533618

Apparently, from what I understand, we don't really know the chipset and crucial never really advertise that their rams are all micron D9..... hmm.gif

from ur signature, seems like u already achieve 400MHz with ur value RAM, then why bother want change to high performance RAM? what u need just want 400MHz + stable, isn't it?

if just want 400MHz + stable, a pair of 1GB Kingston VR with Hynix FP-Y5 chipset already can do it... no need to waste money to buy high performance RAM...
just my opinion...
