i can accept pick up a bit slow..but for engine noise..is it too loud or you can chat with your friend comfortably during highway drive?

when you drive high speed, the noise is more to road noise, tyre noise, and wind noise.

dont push it.....dont put yourself in that debt position, especially in the current economy weather.

IAFM+ is totally ok for day to day usage. For sure, you can still have a decent conversation within the car during movement. Which car has that bad of noise insulation nowadays....

If you have been in other Proton cars and can accept their noise level, then you are going to be OK with this. It is pretty much as noisy as Waja.

A simple swap of better tyres can help already - but you dont need it given the budget constraint.

I'm not a sifu but I can tell you that the current Preve production is already upgraded compare to the previous gen.

current production you mean is 2014 batch?

because people say that its better to wait for 2014 batch than buying 2013 if you're planning to buy now

I think 15+\- pages back we discussed about this already.
If you have time, do look for it.

A forumer, V12kompressor talks about it d.

Anyway it's 2014, and if you're planning to get a new preve.
Lookout for the 6 airbags located at the abc pillar as what kr0ll3r trying to say.

hi here..i already requested to test drive preve exec but they only have cfe for test drive..so far,no one of my friends using preve..

about the noise what i mean acceptable is like tak perlu tinggi suara bila drive atas highway.
*
the noise is only there when you're accelerating and your rpm is >3000rpm. Other than that, I believe the noise is minimum, only from the wheels and wind noises. But I think the NVH for Preve is good enough, you'll still can have conversation normally biggrin.gif

when in highway, you dont have to accelerate all the way, once you got to the proper speed, you can maintain 110-120kmh at about 2000rpm thumbup.gif

so far no issue for the engine noise unless you really heavy foot for higher RPM...
even the wind or tyre noise are still acceptable even speed up to 120-130km/h

If you can wait, wait to save up more downpayment. If you can resist temptation, go for the one that fits the budget. If you know you'll be tempted and then suffer, save up. Try not to go for 3rd party modification, to bolt on turbo on to it to make up for CFE. Modifications/upgrade is for the rich, it is not an alternative to save.

but the item is not recommended by the Punch Powertrain guy from a reply asked by our forumer...
he said the campro engine originally not designed for turbo and the gearbox can only take 230Nm torque max...but the race chip boost the torque to 240Nm~~

All modifications are not recommended by manufacturer. I can't comment much, I don't have one and I myself came biased from pretty extensive car modification. My 2 cents says that Racechip probably goes quite well with the drivetrain, my own worries is that I actually don't get to feel the claimed 240 Nm after installing it.

Campro CFE has a lot of enhancement from the IAFM version. Many of the things that kedai bawah pokok can't do. Preve makes me ditch my BOT project and just buy a Preve LE.

Hi mengsuan, since you driving preve now, do you miss anything on persona?

Narrower body, lighter swift feeling. Massive acceleration with screaming wastegate when boosting (occasionally).

Persona gives more feeling on the road in terms of steering. Feels more confident (for now) to whack corners with Persona than Preve.
