QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Jan 2 2014, 08:01 PM) This is where it gets weird, once you hit the high speed, the noise becomes less apparent exactly. its not so much the engine noise, its just that, at lower speed, the virtual gear position of the cvt gb is lower. its like, imagine driving a manual, and you are staying in 2nd gear since your car speed is still below 60 . maybe a software update can fix this ? |

I think it sort of reminded me why I picked Preve instead of Elantra or Forte

There's so much discussion about that already. Go read. The engine breakaway to give way to maximise crumple zone and avoid punching through the firewall with solid engine block.

Luck doesn't appear out of no where if there was no solid foundation done to provide safety in mind

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Jan 5 2014, 09:26 PM) Hi Mate,Not sure if this has been discussed before as I couldn't find any... And you are the owner of both Persona and Preve CFE... Mind to share about the FC for both cars? How much does it consume for both in City/Highway drivings and etc.... Still considering between these 2...... |

QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Jan 6 2014, 12:24 AM) Hi Mate, I only have approximation for mixed city and highway as my daily travel is from Puchong to KL, a location with lots of jam sometimes. Persona is about 8L/100KM, Preve is about 9L-10L/100KM. Preve has instant fuel consumption meter, at highway cruising about 80km/h, it can score very well about 5-6L/100KM.Not sure if this has been discussed before as I couldn't find any... And you are the owner of both Persona and Preve CFE... Mind to share about the FC for both cars? How much does it consume for both in City/Highway drivings and etc.... Still considering between these 2...... Preve is a heavier car, C-segment compared to Persona's B segment, gives greater comfort and has greater engine power, slightly higher fuel consumption is certain. |

Oh thanks a lot mate...Preve is a heavier car, C-segment compared to Persona's B segment, gives greater comfort and has greater engine power, slightly higher fuel consumption is certain. I will be using it from Puchong to KL too for daily working and quite frequent travel back to Melaka. The Preve would much be a long term car if I were to purchase, Persona is just probably because something new plus due to its price I would probably keep my old car around still. Thanks for the information, it helps a lot. This post has been edited by davidlow7: Jan 6 2014, 08:57 AM |
