Just wondering when is the Preve R3 version or Sapphire Version available~~

interested to get the preve update rather than Suprima~~

I am also expecting the preve FL or R3~~
hopefully it will come out soon~~

Seems like Proton is desperate to clear the cars~~hmm~~
wonder y there are still 2012 stocks~~now October already~~

The more desperate is Proton, the bigger discount they will give..
i suggest slightly tahan until year end~~

But most "girls" (not aunties) dun like to drive such big cars~
So i doubt it is meant for girls~~

Better wait until next year if u can~~
or if u definitely must buy this year..
at least after the 25th Oct Budget announced with the revised National Automotive Policy (NAP)~~
hopefully u do benefit from whatever potential aid from the government with their stupid car policy~~

Hmm why are u so sure that Preve SE will come next year at April?
any good source to refer to?

It is from MAA (Malaysia Automotive Association)..it is EXPECTED (they sound is like confirmed though) that the government will revise the NAP and will benefit local industry players (P1 and P2 of coz)~~

anyway the news however kept it silent and only mention that Najib will announce the new revision this coming budget~~perhaps related to his funny "Janji Dicapatikan"

For the delay of proton~~
it looks like R3 version is NOT just a mere bodykit upgrade but a whole new sportier version~
The Datuk XXX of DRB Hicom mentioned it during the Suprima launch and news from Australia is kind of like confirming it~~

Anyway lets wait and see then~shouldnt be long before there are new variant of Preve

Hi there~~i went to Sg Besi Proton Edar Branch today~
It is noted that they are also able to give me the Proton Preve Premium "dealer" discount of RM6000, and also offer me the R3 Body kit (he said RM1k++) and the R3 Rim for another 1k++ (promise to be ori, but had to check price)~~

Anyone here know better SA to recommend?

I read through the threads here...some even mention they are able to get the price at sub 65K~~

I have talked to the SA in Sg Besi Proton Edar Branch~~
i've asked if the gears have been updated to VT3+, he mention yes~~
but from the post here (thanks a lot man) it seems like the 2013 Preve has not been updated with it yet~~
i really doubt what the SA told me and i doubt whether they know about what is VT3+
How come Proton Sales staff is not improved or updated? Hmm dissapointing~~
This is a damn big deterrent for me to rush for a new Preve this year~~

However, the SA mention that next year Preve variant has 6 airbags~~
wonder how much they are going to increase the Price~~

Nope i went to the showroom and see it for myself~~
the infotainment system on suprima is NOT on Preve LE~~
and yet the price tag is 79k

sadly they said preve LE is off limits~~
u can only buy it..but not test it~~

Very important mechanical changes i reckon~~
more responsive and smoother gear change with reduced whining sound~~
thats y i decide to drop the idea for buying a Preve this year~~hmm~~
just hope it will be implemented on the all new 2014 preve~~

I have checked with the SA...
the retail price for Premium slightly reduced from 73k+ to 72.8k~~
BUT the maximum discount given is 2.5k for branch and 4k for other dealers~~

but sadly~~this model does not seems to incorporated with the VT3+ gearbox improvement which i think was the most important~~sigh~~

only additional 2 airbags, real 5 star ancap body and other minor update for CFE...
