resolving host means your dns is unreachable. Try to ping your dns server or change it to google dns.
*
"resolving host" problem will go on for a few minutes before it solves itself
during this time there is no internet connectivity, can't surf can't download but hypptv unaffected
the problem is intermittent especially after startup and idle for some time

is this unifi stock router problem?
never seems to have run into this problem before from streamyx 1mb era hmm.gif

Hi guys,

I want to ask, after 2 years, if I want to downgrade my Unifi (VIP 10 to VIP 5) is there a charge? I called to Unifi just now, they said there's a charge RM200 for my downgrade, hence I want to clarify you guys here.

I downgraded from VIP20 to VIP10 once. There are 2 options: either renew the 2 year contract or pay RM200 for the downgrade.

Ya, possible.
But if you ask them setup later they might be some charges, depends on contractor.

TM should not charge for downgrade if contract already finish.. mad.gif this is absurd..

if they wanna charge, better terminate the account.. then apply new 1. but of course back to 2 years contract..
but u will get new equipment..

Guys, thanks for the replies.

Well as been pointed out, I am not sure why there is a charge for downgrade after the two years but seems like this cannot be bypasssed. I do not see this mentioned in the T&C at all

anything below the 8dB should be the indicative point saying that there are issue with your copper, ranging from bad copper or long distance

I do not think technician need to come, it can be done via account based.
Correct me if I am wrong.
