QUOTE(Alpha Wolf @ Oct 25 2013, 08:26 AM) Am I one of the few (or perhaps the ONLY one) where our lazy TM contractors did not enclose our cables in "raceway" casing? Or are all seasoned contractors skimping on this step? Additionally, instead of using screw holes for both the fiber termination box and fiber wall socket they just nailed it right at the center to the wall, fast and convenient. On a side note, the fiber cable does look less prominent without a larger enclosure, but the installers never offered to use those casing. Any picture to show us?

QUOTE(Makavelic @ Dec 18 2013, 07:15 PM) Any Penang users here? Today TM just set a counter beside my condo guard house. Guess they're promoting cuz UNIFI baru only reaches my place. I'm a torrent heavy-downloader. I got throttled to 40kb while torrenting on Screamyx 4MB Package, which has really pissed me off =.= And yeah I play a lot of games too, especially D2. Can't stand with any high pingsssss. Need some advice. Terima Kasih in advance =D which condo?

QUOTE(amirsubhi @ Feb 20 2014, 09:57 PM) anything below the 8dB should be the indicative point saying that there are issue with your copper, ranging from bad copper or long distance My VDSL2 for SNR Margin d1,d2,d3 (down stream) is around 16.XX while upstream SNR Margin = 9.X for u1, u2 While my friend reading SNR Margin d1,d2,d3 (down stream) is around 25.XX while upstream SNR Margin = 10.X for u1, u2 since you said above 8dB should be ok, can you advise the above 2 different reading which one will perform better? I got from the link below but it is for Streamyx SNR Margin. Good Article.. Not sure if this is applicable to Unifi. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/222851

QUOTE(amirsubhi @ Feb 21 2014, 02:54 PM) higher SNR margin will result higher attainable rate and more stable line you will get, of course 25dB is much more better, if you compare attainable rate, you will find your friend will have higher attainable rate compare to you, however TM caps their rate to 35/25 for VDSL afaik. Thanks for your advise. If I were check the CRC Count, sometimes I will get the error packet. Can I complain this to Unifi customer service and for your advise, anything they can do about this to improve?
