How much is it for buying Note 3 outright (without any call/data plan)? I bought my S II outright on previous occasion and I'm thinking I'll be doing the same for Note 3.

Should be RM2299

all my samsung note, note II, S3 bought first batch on or before first day launching - all no problem (touchwood)..... so buy the first batch, coz they have more time to QC it, else after launching, orders keep piling up, less QC is "required" coz need to rush it out.  tongue.gif  just j/k...  laugh.gif

I would say more than 50% of the time I get my phones before official date available n more than half are AP sets. And about half of them deal through postage
I am very lucky as till today I have yet to get a defective set out from the box.
Even phones I buy from UK n tablet from USA had also being a very good experience.
So I hope my luck still stay this way.
Btw I never have black clipping issues on my Note1 ( AP set) n I think these are limited hardware problems.

uncle different league mah... we are not as geeky. tongue.gif AP sets are not my cup of tea, official local warranty is a must for my daily phone. Have a horrible experience many many years ago sending a Nokia phone to a non-authorised handphone shop for repair. shakehead.gif

Alieamin is a highly recommended trusted seller. His prices usually at least rm100 lower than official. His shop (SEP outlet) in Klang but he is willing to meetup buyers in KL/Pj/Subang
I have deal with him once face to face while 2 times through poslaju

AP set from Singapore is like local set for me coz i stay in JB, just a 20mins drive, IF no jam at causeway. biggrin.gif I bought some of my computer stuff there, easier to RMA, normally one-to-one exchange on the spot. thumbup.gif

I bought a Seiko Solar watch for the wife last year, was priced at RM700. Analog.

The Gear has got so much whizbang in it ....... I guess it's fine for such a device. Even a Casio G-Shock with so many buttons and dials is not cheap.

So this is a Samsung you know !!!! tongue.gif

you can't tell me that because i never bought a wrist watch in my life, because i couldn't brain the value. biggrin.gif just a ticking machine, but costs so much, no thank you.. (just for a note, a wrist watch is considered as jewelry, thus the price).. as i posted in the smartwatch thread before, if i ever bought and use a wrist watch, it will be a smartwatch. but RM999 for it… hmm.. hmm.gif maybe samsung have to make sure the quality match the "jewelry" standard, or at least, a really durable build device which can lasts years like the normal wrist watch

Now still not sure wanna grab that Gear or not as the standby time really bad.

Selling it at RM999 sounds like fail only. I definitely won't be buying. Since this is just add-on, I'm willing to pay the most RM399 for 1 day battery life watch. You guys can call me cheap. But ... hehe. RM999 watch which will be outdated next year .... laugh.gif
