Apparently sony is a 2nd rate brand in japan. There are loads of fantastic devices in japan and the market is carrier controlled like in the US.

Beside Sony, Japan famous with Sharp, Fujitsu & Apple.

Interesting thread, so now we know:

1. Sony is not top dog in Nippon, and its products are somewhat meh
2. that fruit product is total meh except for 64 bits which is only going to be useful around 18 months down the road
3. Samsung is still top dog globally due to its fantastic products and features lineup

I want to qualify that I am no fanboi of any stripe, and that I'm with Samsung coz they have what I want. I used to go with Nokia, and almost got an XZU except it failed in one area I wanted badly.

Stylus use. Complete fail. Well, you may argue that you can keep your hand off the screen while using a stylus, but then that's not going to last you more than 5 minutes before your arm becomes sore.
I was in India before, they had an advertisement for a phone with 4 SIMs....go figure.

XZU is not Note.. not for writing,,. its just for show off.. when in meeting pretend to take minutes using pencil.. and hold your phone show off to colleagues, they will amazed by its thinness and gorgeous screen. other than than, its a chopping board

As last time Benny888 comment, he give 10 out of 10 for Note II stylus but 2 out of 10 for pen/pencil input for XZU.

The XZU can input by pen/pencil but is too gimmicks as daily use. It not as great as you can though about it.

I try once or two, forget it.
