QUOTE(pinksapphire @ Jan 21 2014, 06:33 PM) QUOTE(michaelho @ Jan 21 2014, 06:35 PM) Correct. To uplift Mach FD, no need to go Mach branch.Even I went that day, the staff just ask me to uplift myself using the internet PC in the Mach branch. As I mentioned in my previous post 2 weeks ago, the teller told me due to Moneybox acct is an e-acct, so it is hard for them to track the fresh fun as money can be IBG from other bank. Hence just uplift your matured FD and immediately place a new one, just choose the promo one from the drop-down list. All DIY. This post has been edited by tbheng: Jan 21 2014, 06:49 PM |

QUOTE(esy @ Jan 21 2014, 10:40 AM) ... got to know from the bank that there is no more "tier-type-of-fix-deposit" because central bank instruction ... I guess it the type of fix deposit that give you first month 2%, second month 3% and so on, where a depositor will get an average of % in the whole year ... please clarify yourself with your banks if need more info as this is just information I got to know ... cheers guys ... This is VERY GOOD acvtion by Bank Negara.... using marketing ploy of big % to "trick" customers. I find this very Unethical. |

So god damn misleading those who are unaware of the effective rate and other binding terms. How pathetic can they get by advertising the rates by tier with sky high rates, seriously.I find this very Unethical. I think PB, CIMB and/or HSBC were the biggest culprits! |

Was in BR today. Confirmed again that with banker's cheque, FD cert can be obtained on the same day. But with personal cheque have to wait for clearance. I used combination of both so have to wait for the personal cheque clearance to get FD cert.

I used combination of both so have to wait for the personal cheque clearance to get FD cert. Every time I only give banker's checsk to BR, and every time I have to wait for few daysthen can get the FD certs. 3 possibilities why Top Goat can get FD cert on the same day: (1) This depends on the branch, and maybe each branch has their own operation policy, just like OCBC. (2) BR does not have a standardized policy; in other words, not so professional. (3) BR knows Top Goat very well since Top Goat is BR's Top Customer By the way, BR just called me this afternoon and asked me to collect hamper tomorrow. I will post hamper picture here after I pick-up this hamper. And RHB bank delivered me a mini hamper by hand via their gift vendor yesterday. And I had to sign 2 receipts for this hamper. QUOTE(BoomChaCha @ Jan 23 2014, 07:02 PM) Every time I only give banker's checsk to BR, and every time I have to wait for few days Ha ha, the way I interpret it is BR's SOP is not really for all branches. There seem to be diff. way of doing things at each branch. Not that I am their Top customer, no way. then can get the FD certs. 3 possibilities why Top Goat can get FD cert on the same day: (1) This depends on the branch, and maybe each branch has their own operation policy, just like OCBC. So BCC also getting the hamper from BR. Wow, BCC is Top customer of RHB. This post has been edited by bbgoat: Jan 23 2014, 08:43 PM |
