On Maybank2u it would be be online efd. It is very convenient for FD placement. Instant deposit and upliftment as necessary. But the rates are very low. I am using it for quite a while now. First deposit if you do not have previous FD account, there will be a few days delay. Just click on Make an eFD deposit then choose Islamic deposit, tenure, amount and renewal instructions.

Thanks but thats not the one. Just called this morning, its 12 months tenure at 80:20. Not worth it.

If my Mach HL's FD is maturing this 23rd, I need to go to any HL branch to have a cheque issued, then bank it in the same day to another bank and then issue a cheque out two days later to bank in for Mach's 3.7% FD deal, yes?

the 3.7% promo can be placed via online banking wo, once you withdraw back to your saving acc try to deposit directly again?

I heard there is one FD promotion from MBSB. 100k 12 months 4.05% with 1g of gold. Anyone else heard about this ?

But the term says fresh fund...that's why I don't know if it can be done like that. If can, it would be so, so much easier. Let me see if I can find out more later...been real busy lately to go to banks.

i went to mach to confirm...withdraw to money box consider fresh fund liao. don't need to bring to other bank and transfer back again

... got to know from the bank that there is no more "tier-type-of-fix-deposit" because central bank instruction ... I guess it the type of fix deposit that give you first month 2%, second month 3% and so on, where a depositor will get an average of % in the whole year ... please clarify yourself with your banks if need more info as this is just information I got to know ... cheers guys ...

one of my MACH FD expired today , withdrew using HLB Connect , money went into MoneyBox. Then withdrew from MoneyBox to place 6 mths @3.7%. But do note maximum deposit per customer is RM250K!

Did you place your FD online? Meaning, we don't have to go to the branch?
