I can confirm up to RM2 as that's the amount currently in my MoneyBox. I opened with Rm100 deposit because they gave free water bottle.

confirmed RM1 as that's the amt I always leave in there after withdrawing my monthly FD interest. For for normal savings account , it has to be RM10

Did you place your FD online? Meaning, we don't have to go to the branch?

My wife will be very happy cos she has stopped working since she got married. Thanks for enlightening me about this EPF self contribution. I really havent heard of it before. Yea, this has been known quite long already.
I known a doctor who has retired but still deposit to epf 5K monthly as investment.
And can withdraw money anytime as well.. win win solution  rclxms.gif

Ya, I think they give interest by the monthly balance (not 100% sure though).
For retiree, this is a BIG plus !!
Go for it !

spoke to EPF , they said daily dividend ...

For retiree withdrawal should be easy. But working employee like us how?
Must wait till age 55 only can do the full withdrawal?
*
age 50 can withdraw part or ALL from Akaun 2,
Age 55 can withdraw part or ALL from Akaun 1,
Age 75 have to withdraw EVERYTHING, even if leave inside, no tak ada dividend .

Better document here since still fresh on my mind .

The only setback is have to keep there until you are at least 50, and have to keep praying everyday that nothing bad happens to Malaysia , and make sure your nominee is up-to-date.

Minimum per deposit: RM 50

Maximum deposit per year: RM 60K
Can deposit RM 60K at a time by filling out one KWSP deposit slip and one KWSP form6A(1).
Also can deposit any amount on different dates up to RM 60K per year.

Note:
Before 2013, we were allowed to put in any amount without any limit.
I think both Top Goat & Top Cat put in their maximum loads before 2013.. brows.gif
May Bank is not familiar with EPF procedures.
Actually can submit one slip for RM 60K.

you can self-contribute through M2U. I have registered but not yet contributed. smile.gif
