planing to get a U Mobile prepaid then subscribe for the UMI18.

Put it into android tablet and function as GPS location tracker when need.

Can't find because installed new ROM on my phone and didn't keep old SMS I remember there was an SMS saying 'sign up for u-card now and enjoy blabla' though. I thought it was free RM10 credit or something.

hi fellow u-mobile users, i have been using the umi28 plan for half a year already, previously I was a hotlink user, I jumped ship bcoz u-mobile offers the cheapest deal if u need data+call plan combine together.

I can say the 3g coverage is stable in the urban area especially in klang valley and im pretty satisfied with the speed. Unfortunately it has terrible coverage outside klang valley. I experienced it in seremban and melaka area whereby u can't even get into EDGE coverage. I have seen my friends and family members using other telco at the same area but they can have a decent and better coverage than I am.

nope. only unused calls and sms will be carried forward. The general rule is that you can only carry over 2x of the free call or sms that is provided by the plan itself. In your case, UMI18 provides you with 25 min of free calls and 25 free sms so the most that you can carry forward is 50 min of free calls and 50 free sms. Anything more than that will be forfeited.

I did manual search at my place and it doesn't have coverage in there, it's truly disappointing bcoz other telco do have 3g/2g coverage at my place. Like in one situation, me and my friends are exchanging pictures in a whatsapp group but I'm the only one who is not receiving the pictures. Luckily most of the time I'm in the klang valley area so it doesn't affect my data usage. I have to consider using other telco when I'm out of town.

Where are you from? The internet speed getting slower is something that I had felt over the past few months, but still pretty good though.

guys, wana ask, if let say last time im a maxis user...den convert to u-mobile, den later on im not satisfied with u-mobile n convert back to maxis again....but now maxis seems like getting more n more expensive andthey charged me like waterfish....now i wana convert back to u-mobile for its cheaper rate can or not ar??

should be okay I think. as long as you don't abuse the system(keep mnp here and there) then I think that you should be fine
