Exynos have problems? I don't think it have problems - except for the sources, which is irrelevant for most users. Still, Samsung SSDs are one of the best - if not the best SSDs you could buy.

QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Feb 23 2015, 10:16 AM) really?! ok there were so many things happening during the holidays. need to do a little bit of catch-up first. equation's hard drive firmware malware, sim card breach in the us/uk, lenovo's superfish, nvidia's 970 law suits, nvidia's reintroduction of overclock-ability, and samsung's 840 evo new fix. |

QUOTE(TheHitman47 @ Feb 23 2015, 11:27 PM) this, ive read alot of people reco 840..but since the first problem found and then somebody found out the same problem happen again even after fix. i just decide to not getting the samsung ssd. by the way, samsung always look great during 1st impression but then... so far my samsung stuff like phone, tv, ram, charger, (still thinking) none of it spoil but the performance really not great as they stated. don't trust those benchmark shit that samsung perform the best among others ssd. bro just go for crucial BX100 or other cheap one. seriously, samsung is too highly over-rated & recommended by those reviewers i personally avoid toshiba HDD. fyi, only toshiba washing machine can buy & consider one of the best lasting wm. |

I should have read before getting it.
Just got myself 840 Evo 500GB. I tested both diskmark and AS SSD both telling me read & write at 330mb+ I should try using the fix and hopefully it fix it? |

QUOTE(Jigoku @ Feb 24 2015, 12:13 AM) I should have read before getting it. The problem with 840 evo is the slow read bug when you have old data (at least a few weeks old). New one doesn't show this sign. There might be other issues tht caused the slow reads of your 840 evo.Just got myself 840 Evo 500GB.
