Though it's way too expensive... You can get Intel's 530 SSD 240GB for slightly more cash. Can't really complain about the price since it's a very recent product. |

My laptop using msata It doesn't really matter, since you won't be seeing the difference in real world... ps: just saw the writing speed of 850 evo is much more better compared to 840 evo and also wana ask why didnt u suggest pro? Note though, make sure your mSATA port accepts full sized mSATA SSDs. Some laptop's mSATA port only supports half-sized mSATA SSDs. |

Pro will be way overpriced that you can literally get 2x capacity with same budget from other brands. If you don't mind and want the best in the industry, it shall be a good choice though. |

finally it's the time of the year. ces 2015 has a bunch of stuff that are worth waiting for.
in terms of ssd technology, controllers for nvme ssd are now ready. it seems that overheating is no more an issue with the new controller by marvell. (meaning heat sinks are not needed anymore, especially for high-speed data transfers) hopefully we can see some actual products in retail soon lol! |

(not as good as cheating, but good enough to let you sleep well at night hehe) you need to think and work hard for it.i rather think more about how i can earn more, because in the end of the day, only consumers will keep the money flowing, and everyone is happy. yeah seldom we have people talking about plextor. maybe the previous product recalls on m6pro which lacked of follow-up updates had something with this. it's not the best but it's still one of the better ones, at least to me. i have older m5pro and m5m, and i am quite happy with them. |
