I see thanks for the info, by the way is there any converter for this m.2? Also will it work if i use the converter to plug into the normal sata laptop?

See if these links below can help you, but getting it to work may not as satisfactory as PCIe, SATA3 still has limits.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mini-PCIE-SATA-Ada...E/dp/B0073U2EYU
Found no matching support from the list, probably won't work either.

Best to get SATA type which suits your needs.

Guys, does SSD can improve speed in Adobe CS5, open apps, browsing, etc? I just know SSD is improve booting time. But beside that what does it do? sweat.gif

Coz, i rarely booting up my PC. Most of time i put on sleep mode, and press any key it will back on within few sec.

Yeah sure, if you install everything on SSD, your OS and programs will become much more responsive as SSD has very low random access latency + higher IO per second.
Saving, opening and undo/redo operation may be faster on CS5, but SSD cant speed up everything, browsing and some other operation on CS5 may still need powerful CPU/GPU sweat.gif

Well the only downside is that it will run out space fast once you install a lot of softwares/programs inside it biggrin.gif .

I just get Agility 3 as replacement for RMA's Vertex Plus. But the performance is lower than my previous Vertex Plus even though Vertex Plus is SATA II.

if you wanna install into normal SATA laptop, there's only two option:

i) if your laptop has a mSATA slot (eg: Lenovo Y480 etc) you can just get a mSATA ssd

ii) if your laptop doesn't have a mSATA, sacrifice your harddisc replace it with normal SATA ssd or sacrifice the optical drive n replace with SATA ssd + optical drive tray

basically all the programs you install in the SSD will be much more responsive n loads MUCH MUCH faster. u wouldn't believe how smooth is the quick saving/loading in skyrim

Try aligning the ssd as in guide below, and run the benchmark again

Thanks for suggestion bro...i'd tried with Gpart, but something happened in the middle & all mess-up. Did fresh install last night & it turn okay now... sweat.gif Optimization in progress...

Still that Agility3 performance is under-spec... cry.gif

Try install IRST and compare the score again, you are using the default AHCI drive from Microsoft(aka msahci), which performance is slightly lower but it's the most stable AHCI driver.

Intel IRST Version 12.9.0.1001 is latest rite? Do I need to un-install MSAHCI driver first or just install Intel's?

hmm.gif But I think better stick to most stable one...even it's slightly lower performance. Safe play... sweat.gif
