I just get Agility 3 as replacement for RMA's Vertex Plus. But the performance is lower than my previous Vertex Plus even though Vertex Plus is SATA II.

Is Vertex Plus still in warranty after Toshiba took over?
*
My seller still able to claim the warranty coz it happened slighty before OCZ filing the bankruptcy.

Try aligning the ssd as in guide below, and run the benchmark again

Thanks for suggestion bro...i'd tried with Gpart, but something happened in the middle & all mess-up. Did fresh install last night & it turn okay now... sweat.gif Optimization in progress...

Still that Agility3 performance is under-spec... cry.gif

Try install IRST and compare the score again, you are using the default AHCI drive from Microsoft(aka msahci), which performance is slightly lower but it's the most stable AHCI driver.
*
Intel IRST Version 12.9.0.1001 is latest rite? Do I need to un-install MSAHCI driver first or just install Intel's?

hmm.gif But I think better stick to most stable one...even it's slightly lower performance. Safe play... sweat.gif

No, if you installed IRST, the Intel AHCI driver will replace the default ACHI driver, you dont have to do anything beside download and install the IRST.
You can always try and uninstall IRST later.
So, do you think Intel released buggy ISRT to destroy people's hopes and dreams?  sweat.gif it's more optimized than default one, and probably more advantages, but it's up to you.

yeah your score is 458. normally it's like 415 to 420 from what i have observed.

as for RST drivers, to get the best one it will be a trial and error process. to me the msahci driver is just fail-safe (i.e. all other options failed, because it's quite old). intel RST on the other hand is still in active maintenance and development.
*
Yesss....both of you are correct. Using latest IRST seems improved the performance a bit
