Try install IRST and compare the score again, you are using the default AHCI drive from Microsoft(aka msahci), which performance is slightly lower but it's the most stable AHCI driver.

No, if you installed IRST, the Intel AHCI driver will replace the default ACHI driver, you dont have to do anything beside download and install the IRST.
You can always try and uninstall IRST later.
So, do you think Intel released buggy ISRT to destroy people's hopes and dreams?  it's more optimized than default one, and probably more advantages, but it's up to you.

yeah your score is 458. normally it's like 415 to 420 from what i have observed.

as for RST drivers, to get the best one it will be a trial and error process. to me the msahci driver is just fail-safe (i.e. all other options failed, because it's quite old). intel RST on the other hand is still in active maintenance and development.

i using IDE now. i heard ppl say use AHCI is better but after i change, my pc get BSOD. Are AHCI is better?  HOT PLUG have to enable in order to AHCI mode?

after follow first step, need turn on the hot plug? or jus set into AHCI mode in bios?
