Oh yeah, there's actually a new driver for GT750M.. just released yesterday.. 320.49 beta... but many ppl complain it causes many problems... especially in metro LL... :/

get it at lowyat plaza or juz find a seller in lelong, theyre cheaper there.

only sound i encounter is the spinning disc sound. any other sound should be a problem for you to worry d.

ur rule is not always correct all the time bro. Even the 320.18 driver WHQL is full of bugs.. 320.49 is said to fix the problem present in 320.18 WHQL driver, but in the end, it made the problem worse...

I am thinking of buying Y410p with fan ultrabay.
are both of them available at Lowyat?

any words on when the ultrabay graphics for y410p will be available?

oh hell, reverting back to lenovo released driver NOW.

I'm not sure for our graphic card bro... so far, the complaints are only from those desktop nvidia graphic card user (yes, i read the whole 11 page of feedback forum yesterday... but for now, have no idea)

Btw, hope someone try it first...

I did update to 320.49 but after reading your post, I immediately reverted the driver.

it doesnt support 750m gt officially. im talking about a gold master release for 750m gt with sli profile.

Even if gold master release doesn't mean the driver will be any good oso ma..

Default one we use is 311.27 driver.. even if it's not the gold master release for gt750m, at least it functions better...

I just hope when they do release official gold master one for gt750m, there will be no trouble... ..........*crossing fingers*

Yes, u can change Ultrabay with Optical drive, hardisk or Graphic card...Y500 and Y510p part is same...

When not talking about Lenovo, most laptop/mobile gadget is selling much cheaper ONLY in US. E dot G, try look at Google Nexus in US compare to the price around the world.

Now talking about Lenovo, almost All Lenovo products in Malaysia is way cheaper compare to other brands, plus most model has TWO YEARS INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY. (Sorry to say Lenovo already confirm won't honor grey import sets like yours and was told will make official update about international warranty term within Q3 2013)

Yes, I was also told the same thing. Unless you are a legit US born, travelling buyer, they will not honour any grey import market Lenovo anymore.

Even then, some of the grey import prices do not make any sense. Take the Y410P Blu Ray edition. Listed price in the US is $1399 (Which is almost RM4440). Even if the summer discount code of $450 is applied, that still meant $949 which is still around Rm2850! But it is being sold below RM2500!

Assuming that the importers still make money from selling it below RM2500, you have to wonder what is the cost? RM2000? Lets just say RM2000, because I don't see the hassle of doing grey market imports if you are not going to make money off it. What then is the cost of the unit in the US? Lets say around $700.

Now, where can you get the Y series at that price. Maybe here?
