QUOTE(arielravenfall @ Jun 19 2013, 08:56 PM) Well, the new gt750m variant has new graphic card, so there's no new driver for it yet... performance is quite noob for some games, but for recently released Metro: Last Light, can run on high settings with no problem.. Also, the new variant of y500 (with geforce gt750m) has no wireless connection problem or the touchpad problem whatsoever (this problem occured on y500 with gt650m graphic card) I think that's about it~ btw, the speaker ROARS!!! (To be honest, i kept mine at 38 only... Lower it a bit at night as at 38 it's quite loud already.. above 60 already like personal theather, 100 is (I never reached that volume... Afraid speaker might get spoiled)Been owning this babe for almost a month now. If u need the Nvidia Optimus function (Improve battery life), then get y510... if not, y500 is your best bang for the bucks! Once I bought it, I never looked back again~ Btw, t he keyboard red-backlit lights become dimmer faster if u leave it on highest brightness (set using Fn + Space Bar) while playing games until laptop overheat like mine.. >.< really? need to buy external speaker? & turn off blacklit? QUOTE(arielravenfall @ Jun 27 2013, 01:01 AM) ur rule is not always correct all the time bro. Even the 320.18 driver WHQL is full of bugs.. 320.49 is said to fix the problem present in 320.18 WHQL driver, but in the end, it made the problem worse... does 320.49 kills GPU like 320.18? oh hell, reverting back to lenovo released driver NOW.

QUOTE(arielravenfall @ Jun 27 2013, 07:11 AM) I'm not sure for our graphic card bro... so far, the complaints are only from those desktop nvidia graphic card user (yes, i read the whole 11 page of feedback forum yesterday... but for now, have no idea) Btw, hope someone try it first... I did update to 320.49 but after reading your post, I immediately reverted the driver. This post has been edited by ErgoProxi: Jun 27 2013, 07:16 AM

QUOTE(arielravenfall @ Jul 1 2013, 02:07 AM) How to know: 1. Go this link: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-se...us/default.page? 2. Fill in the necessary information 3. Click submit 4. See the status Usually when you purchase ur laptop, the laptop's warranty is still 1 year... To upgrade to 2 years, u can go to this link: http://support.lenovo.com/en_MY/detail.page?DocID=HF003342and read the instruction provided at the page.. P/s: never ask for serial number from other people. Serial number is a private info and leaking these info is harmful ( people can claim ur laptop.. yeah, sounds irrational, but that's what a guy in another forum say... ) I thought s/n only used to check warranty. sorry ****, the shop haven't activate my 2 years warranty yet. over a week already. sigh. dunno if they forgotten me or just dunno how to register lenovo warranty ( they sell ASUS product, mainly). oh ****, imma register it myself. QUOTE(arielravenfall @ Jul 1 2013, 04:50 PM) warranty replies? meaning how long before ur warranty extension is updated? well, after u apply for warranty extension, wait for a week.... check back at the website thru the link i provided, and u should see that ur warranty is now 2 years instead of 1 got the reply within the same day. However need to resend snapshot due to missing serial number on invoice. I did send the serial number, in email. oh well, I guest they need picture prove. Wondering the hand written s/n on the printed invoice will be accepted.

QUOTE(arielravenfall @ Jul 1 2013, 06:08 PM) well, lenovo's customer service is actually much2 better than other brands, except dell... dell's customer service very2 good one! well, i'm not sure about the "hand-written" thing since my lappy's warranty was extended by my reseller himself... got replied , damn fast. They updated 1 year warranty. So, now I have 1 year warranty from purchase date. 2 years extand warranty is in progress.
