how loud is the fan? Is it as loud as when u use the dust removal app?

if yes, then something is wrong with ur lappy... maybe got too much dust inside, u play too much games till overheat and mess up ur wiring, something wrong with ur fan, got software that cause ur fan to go like that (like MSI Afterburner), or other stuff that i dunnoe...

Btw, I'm not a sifu.. just a normal computer user who had read a lot of forum about common problems faced by pc user... so the above problem are the common ones.. how to fix it? I also don't know

I want to know the simplest method to do a clean wins 8 installation on the SSD without compromising my HDD and stuffs. Basically, I just want it to be hassle free and hopefully won't mess up my partitions :\
There's this method that requires an original Wins 8 ISO but I can't seem to find any on the net. It's either Pro or Enterprise

yeah.. i've read somewhere that you'll need win 8 ISO (since the win 8 key already lock with the bios)
my clean install done by my lenovo reseller.. so cannot help much..

its either voltage peak which you need to check your power source , adapter and magnets or you need to burn in those speakers, at least 50 hours to sound nice

Btw, always ensure that the laptop u buy is Malaysia official set as imported set such as US-import set have warranty issue...

As for difference between y500 and y400 (I'm talking about the new variant of y400/500... the ones with gt750m graphic card.. old one has gt650m ) is that y500 has numpad, has better ventilation (prevents overheating longer), y500 no longer has any wifi/touchpad problem which exist in it's old version (some user of y400 new version say that their laptop still has this wifi problem, touchpad problem, etc.. but not all.. only a few of them face this problem)
, y500 can SLI without problem (the new y400's external graphic card [from what i heard] is going to be cancelled as the sli configuration for y400 has some temperature issues...), y400 has better battery life, y400 is much-much lighter than y500 (y500 laptop (ultrabay slotted with graphic card)+170w adapter+gaming mouse = 5.5kg ) and that's about all i know regarding the difference
