QUOTE(vincentwmh @ Jul 17 2013, 05:36 PM) headhunter or hiring Co offered you? it makes lots of difference I was contacted directly by the hiring manager.. but she also not able to give me salary scope, just says that it is a competitive salary. I've passed the rounds of interview and done the 'writing test'. Now just waiting for the numbers and logistics. Not getting my hope up until the ink is dry. lol

QUOTE(crazy25kid @ Jul 19 2013, 09:46 AM) Yes you can. When you come over to Sg, bring along your old passport to verify that you are that person. That was what I did when I came. I renew my passport 1 week before coming to Sg too. Thank you. Tha means u face the same situation as me before? Renew after getting IPA? So i just submit the medical report together wif the new passport copy?

So i just submit the medical report together wif the new passport copy? yes...the passport number on my IPA is different from the one in my passport I used to enter SG (which I eventually used for my fingerprinting in MOM) Just make sure you remember to bring along your old passport. They might want to see it for verification purposes.

You may try SG REIT. The price for some REIT(s) drop quite a lot past month. I think it's time go in. http://reitdata.com/http://www.sgx.com/UnderMaintenance.html?W...eits/investors/

If the interest rates go up like the CEO of DBS said they would (when he said home loans should be converted from floating to fixed now)... REITs will need to move cash away from paying dividends to paying interest.

I will be under a SG company employment soon and the company will get me my employment pass,
according to my boss..I won't be eligible for CPF due to working under employment pass not PR, therefore, I would be taking the nett salary being offered or would there be any deduction? Besides that, my job required me to travel around ASEAN countries..
Do I have to pay tax in Singapore & Malaysia?
Besides that which bank is better in term of transferring back or convert my pay into RM, whenever necessary?

Do I have to pay tax in Singapore & Malaysia? Yes you get your full salary every month. Unlike Malaysia, SG has no monthly deduction. You still need to file your tax in April the following year and then pay your tax for the year either by lump sum or by GIRO (monthly installments).
