I have question regarding PR Application.

ICA website stated that Eligibility to apply for one of the option :

c) P, Q or S work pass holders
But it did not mentioned the validity of the Work Pass require.

Anyone know if there is any requirement of validity for the Work Pass? Because I booked an appointment in Aug and my pass expired the same month >"<
*
since feb many Q renewal got rejected but offered S if applicant still want to continue employment. many S flooded the pr booking system immediately hoping not to go thru renewal process again after two years. mom may do off with S then icon_idea.gif .

Anyone can share method by transferring a large amount of money (about RM250k) from Malaysia to Singapore? If anyone wonder why transfer so much, it's for down payment to buy property in SG.

I know one of the method is TT and the rate will follow bank's rate (so might lose few thousand SGD). Any other better way?
*
i will forget on TT, just rubber-band in two packs of 50xSGD$1000 notes will do. one each in left & right front pocket. take a flight in changi safe & sound.

Yes you can.
When you come over to Sg, bring along your old passport to verify that you are that person.
That was what I did when I came.
I renew my passport 1 week before coming to Sg too.
*
but it still would not change the EP validity/expiry date in IPA issued.

Hi, I have gotten the IPA letter for my EP. However, my passport will expire on March 2014. Does it mean that the expiry date of my EP will only up to March 2014? can i renew the passport now? (the IPA letter has already registered with my current passport number)
*
what is the period granted? you should see it in your IPA(employee copy). its at 1st col, 4th row (below the application date).
i believe it the same format as mine for renewal (just received it yesterday)

Thank you so much. You has solved my queries, coz i afraid that MOM say cannot, need to reapply, then i need to do the medical checkup again smile.gif
*
why waste 8mths of your current passport by renewing it now. just proceed with ur current passport.
you can always just do passport updating at MOM website online after you renew come apr14.

From University of Malaya
No, im not registered w/ sia.

So how much will i be expecting?
*
not registered, it will architecture assistant.

sorry to say but its fact, 1yr experience = 0; and my rough guess starting pay in the range of -2000+ & kinda tough to secure an opening (high competition fr other countries willing to accept brows.gif as a start). no harm trying if $$ is not ur "a-must-min" to start ur career here.

since u r fr UM, SIA nod ur Q here, you can always work your way to be registered while attached to a QP.

happy hunting icon_rolleyes.gif

It's that need to pay first then claim later. But the amount claimable is base on the rate in Malaysia.

Another clause is the claim only applicable if the insured person leave Malaysia not more than 90 days.
*
Para 2 correct. Those relying only on Msia insurance, pa, medic card must come back Msia every 89 days. If you Sui Sui admitted hospital accident on your 92th days>> no cover lo

Is it correct for renewal also need to advertise the slot? No take up by local then only deem fulfill criteria for renewal? Any input on this?
