Huh? you got charged for requesting temporary increase in CL by HLB? From Citibank credit card T&C, one will be charge if he/she uses more than his CL without getting approval.

As for MBB, if you request for temporary increase in CL, usually it is for a specific period only and then back to your original CL and there are no fees or whatever charges as long as you pay before the Due Date. And you will get a SMS once they approve your request for temporary increase in CL.

I once time apply for temporary increase my CL when I was on a vacation to Taiwan. I called HLB and they confirmed for the temporary CL increase. When I came back, the statement come they charge me a fee for it while I haven't swipe exceed my original CL vmad.gif vmad.gif . So i give a call again they say is a fee to pay for temporary increase CL then i argue no exceed the original CL also only they waive it... So HLB give me bad impression. mad.gif mad.gif

Both the Maybankard 2 Gold and Platinum are FREE FOR LIFE as stated in Post#1. And the extra benefits of the Platinum over the Gold is also stated in Post#1.

Edited-

fly126 - you beat me replying by basically copying what is stated in post#1 and paste it here, haha

Just wondering if this happened to anyone before - tried to pay for something today on my M2 Amex card (RM110) twice but was declined.

Called Maybank and the last payment wasn't updated as it was done last night / this morning and that otherwise I was over the limit before the payment, but said he couldn't give me any more details when I asked about how I was over the limit.

Balance yesterday was approx 16K (total between Amex + Master) / Statement balance 12K which was paid in full.

If my CL is 20K, would this be 10K per card, or split depending on spend?

Hi guys, I've just called Maybank because i noticed the 5% rebate for a large transaction wasn't credited in Sept. The transaction date was
26-Sep-13 (Thursday) but posting date was on 29-Sep-13 (Sunday), according to the CS rebate is subject to transaction date and not posting date contrary to what was mentioned in Post#2 on the first page.

Your transaction was on a weekday, so no cash back. Read post#2 again, it refers to the payout month.

combined limit = all MBB cards add together <= RM20K

Balance yesterday was approx 16K . Do you have any Ezypay on any of the cards? It takes up your credit limit but not visible in your M2U "Balance"

CL are shared among all cards, say if you have 2 cards and you used up your 20k, means there's 0 left for another card. Its not split equally.

Haha.. I called to cancel but later reactivate it again coz after cancel only I realized I have been using it to pay TNB which it stands a chance to get back 100% cash back. So I have to leave it active to see if the chance comes or not. smile.gif)) since the gst was already paid earlier so there's no harm to keep it.

No Ezypay set up at all (don't even know what that is blush.gif ) only automatic payments I have set up is Digi which is at most RM150 per month.

This is what I thought , the customer service rep on the phone couldn't give any info so maybe they just made a mistake and tried to cover it by saying I spent past my CL whistling.gif
