QUOTE(JinLeon @ Jun 16 2013, 11:35 PM) How about this Intel I5 4670 RM669 Asrock H87 Performance RM375 (or others?) Sapphire 7870 xt RM769 G.Skill PC3-12800 DDr3 1600mhz 4GB X2 RM198 WD Blue 1TB RM205 Seasonic S12II 620w RM299 (Can it support Haswell?) Aerocool X-Predator White RM175 Total RM2690 Looks good overall. If don't need extra features from H87 mobo, u may consider B85 that offer slightly cheaper price. Other than that mostly depends on personal preference. Seasonic S12II 620w can support haswell.

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jun 16 2013, 11:07 PM) Yup it is reliable, mostly recommend asrock/msi because of lower price tag as compared to asus brand with same chipset&feature. Then just swap the processor & mobo to Haswell will do How about this: Intel i5 3470 RM559 MSI B75A-G43 (i need HDMI) Kingston 8gb ram RM179 WD Blue 1TB RM199 Actually the performance ram & cooler is just for decoration purpose, i planning to do cable management & sleeving for the 1st try.

Looks good too. Sleeving is a tough job for first time imo, but good luck on it to make your rig look nicer . QUOTE(JinLeon @ Jun 17 2013, 12:01 AM) the price for the mobo is still consider high? Most PSU still supports Haswell, no worries.

QUOTE(Cable707 @ Jun 14 2013, 12:18 AM) Xeon E3's performance is quite similar to i7 3770..only lack of IGP.. So if your gonna be gaming and getting a dedicated GPU , is Xeon E3 better then current Haswell that has IGP ? QUOTE(KSinY @ Jun 12 2013, 04:15 PM) why dont get gtx770? Zotac gtx770 4GB is about 1549 with better and improve features. What would be the main difference of the 2GB version vs the 4GB version?

QUOTE(w0rmee @ Jun 17 2013, 12:42 PM) What would be the main difference of the 2GB version vs the 4GB version? 4Gb would be most noticeable when using multi-screen setup or a high res monitor above 1440p.

QUOTE(4128 @ Jun 17 2013, 09:36 PM) Where can i get Silverstone SG09 at Kuching? Any recommendation? 10Q I don't think Kuching shops carry any Silverstone casing since I didn't saw them showing on racks. You can either try back-to-back order through local shop(s) or buy directly from online-dealers/resellers.

Hi guys. ^^
I got that PC set up which I asked about the last time, I want to thank you guys for it. My sibling is happy with it.
Now though, I'm thinking of getting one for myself, but my budget is around RM 2k to RM 2.5k and I'm open to Intel as well. I already have a HDD and I'm willing to defer the purchase of a new monitor. So, right now, I'm scouting the market right now to see what I can get around that budget.
I will get the new PC either this month or next month though.
