To all Shifu in Hardware section,
What is recommend to build pc in budget of RM2500++ Comparing E3 1230 v2 and Haswell, is better to take the new haswell I5 right? Was looking at the GS section and found out that the Asrock Fatal1ty H87 Performance is not that expensive that i thought, Does it best for buy in my budget? |

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jun 16 2013, 10:44 PM) Perhaps he did a typo, MSI B85M i suppose. Price only slightly higher than B75 if not mistaken. I think i will buy the newer gen, at lease in the future i still can make some upgrade... Try Intel i5 3470 RM559 MSI B75MA-P45 RM229 Kingston 8gb ram RM179 WD Blue 1TB RM199 Total RM1166 **Some budget cut can allow an i5 to fit in your budget. Asus mobo just over priced, unless u really need thos features from Z77 mobo. Performance ram doesn't improve gaming/real life performance by much and the difference compared to a value ram is just negligible. Stock Cooler is good enough to handle your usage, unless the cooler is faulty and noisy then u may consider a better one later. |

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jun 16 2013, 11:07 PM) Yup it is reliable, mostly recommend asrock/msi because of lower price tag as compared to asus brand with same chipset&feature. For the I5Then just swap the processor & mobo to Haswell will do Intel Core™ i5-4670 (Haswell)-RM675 Intel Core™ i5-4570 (Haswell)-RM680 Intel Core™ i5-4430 (Haswell)-RM570 The 4670 and 4570 got wat different? |

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jun 16 2013, 11:45 PM) Looks good overall. the price for the mobo is still consider high? Last time hear some report says many psu will not support haswell, so scare scare..If don't need extra features from H87 mobo, u may consider B85 that offer slightly cheaper price. Other than that mostly depends on personal preference. Seasonic S12II 620w can support haswell. |

QUOTE(hmwgbworld @ Jun 28 2013, 06:57 PM) Will suggest Intel instead of AMD, since at the same price point, Intel outperform AMD in gaming mostly. Intel Xeon E3 1230v2 RM749 MSI B75MA-P45 RM229 Kingston 8gb ram RM179 Seagate 1TB RM189 Sapphire 7870 XT RM779 Enermax NAXN82+ 550W RM215 No DVD-RW Any Casing u like RM150 Total RM2490 E3 1230 v2 ad RM749? Thought it will be cheaper since haswell is out |
