anyway, never seen anyone put up AMD APU setup, what do you think of this one comparing price-performance value for a light gamer, (DOTA 2 is the heaviest)

basically, i watched from teksyndicate youtube where they recommend several time of APU system with really nice price around $350(around RM1085?) only with some really nice spec

i tried to build with Malaysia available H/W around same spec and this is the best i could get :/
maybe pricing at Malaysia are much higher compared overseas

you see, I could say i'm the most computer literate among my friends and always been asked for the cheapest computer system for DOTA 2 at considerably high setting

so i thought APU is the solution, unfortunately the price still high :/

than what casing is the best for these setup anyway?

still gaming HTPC sounds not bad either XD

well, i know but from i read. in order to boost up the APU graphics, RAM clock speed is really in affect

to me 20% increased in performance could be consider huge already.

I guess, intel still win in gaming PERFORMANCE and PRICE
no point building APU setup other than HTPC setup here, case close

details max out with 60-70% shader
lowest fps on action would be 20fps.

still the processing power is much better than g2020.

i suggest you take mobo with at least 1 sata3 port

it affect read/write rate if later you think wanna add up SSD

my opinion tho.

still if you had extra budget, better put those in Graphic card budget instead, I3 still capable to handle a lot of things ya know

remember tho, the only setbacks regarding xeon is that its not capable to overclock AT ALL
and
there is no Integrated GPU on board, so you need GPU attached at all time

just in case you going to send your graphic card for a warranty, you won't be able to use motherboard graphic input/output as usual since the proc doesn't support any on board graphic.

well, that's why for non oc'er, i'd prefer to take xeon if they wish to get performance of i7

and at mid high setting is already beautiful eh

my spec playing crysis- i5-3550 + leadtek gtx 550 ti. -setting medium-low fps average 30-50

still to me, its already beutiful~
