Hi, I would like to buy a new PC for working purpose.
My PC target is listed below.

[Budget] RM 3,000 - 3,500

[Purpose] Workstation

[Hardware that will be reuse from old rig] None

[Monitor resolution] 1900 x 1080 (target samsung 27")

[Game or software that use frequently] Autocad, Solidwork & etc.

[Personal Preference Brand] ASUS

[Location] KL

I found NVIDIA Quadro is special for workstation purpose.
I would like to have a try but the price is expensive.
Would it be worth compare to a normal GPU.

Thank, hope heard some feedback soon.

hi cheaterz,

  is the sound card has optical port? and dvd change to bluerayhow much it cost

i was wrong with the mobo, you should go ahead with B85M-HDS-RM249, to pair with the Xonar XD.

look up for the specification here;
http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_Digita...#specifications

you can compare with what you need. ^^,

from the price list;
Liteon BLU RAY COMBO 12X - RM249
Liteon BLU RAY RW RM299

I also very tempted to set up the r9 280x to my rig sad.gif but surfing around forum and google,found out that new batch of r9 280x with tahiti XTL would be release to replace the r9 280x with tahiti XT2 sad.gif that's why make me doubt to use the current r9 280x or sell it out and upgrade to other gpu sad.gif

I found out that lingloong sell msi 770 quite cheap sad.gif still cant make a decision :S

Actually in terms of performance GTX770 & R9 280X quite similar, should not considered as upgrade unless u want to get R9 290.

Hi, can someone recommend me a rig for my BF.

He mainly games and does programming with the PC. Budget is around 3.1-3.2k RM. He already uses a 27 inch monitor for his programming work.

I was looking at the R280x for him.

Your current HDD has OS installed on it before putting it to the rig?
If so, a clean format and installation of OS will solve the problem.
