[Game or software that use frequently] Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya and online gaming (Ragnarok 2)

It is a solid casing, but due to the size it is heavy indeed.
The advantage is it allow a lot components to accommodate inside.
Yup  nod.gif .

Hello everyone, I am torn between the leadtek 760 and leadtek 760 OC.. there is a 130 price difference and I would like to know if the OC version is worth it. I was assuming that the 760 could be overclocked with the same performance as the 760 OC. Is that correct? hope someone could help me out on this. thanks!
*
well the reference leadtek 760 price rm 799 is based on the reference card.

GPU Clock: 980 MHz
Boost Clock: 1032 MHz

user posted image

the leadtek gtx 760 oc meanwhile don't have the reference cooler and it is factory oc out of the box.

GPU Clock:
1110 MHz (+13%)
Boost Clock:
1176 MHz (+14%)

I appreciate the response! this thread has helped me a lot as I am planning to purchase the parts this weekend.

based from what you said, is there any way that the leadtek 760 can match the clock speeds of the OC version through overclocking? If so, I can get the 760 and OC it myself if that is the case. Is the fan and the preset oc settings its only difference? I am coming from a budget perspective so i'm trying to be practical as much as possible.
*
Yes, possibly through oc but based on some of the forumers said here, the card with the reference cooler do tend to get a bit hot.

And yes the gtx 760 is a very good bang to buck card at the moment. You can't go wrong with it.

for gaming its better to get a corded mouse(Deathadder 2013, G400, Steelseries) while keyboard unless you're going for mechanical any membrane keyboard will do.

do zotac or palit release AMD card? Because sapphire, gigabyte and asus seems like a bit expensive sad.gif
sapphire R9 280X is about gigabyte/asus 760 but way expensive than the zotac one sad.gif

so what do you guys think sad.gif should take the zotac 760 or grab the r9 280x
*
You can consider getting the R9 280X, I'm not sure about the price point but it should be around the 7970 GHZ edition or a bit less.

It has a 3GB of Vram so it should be more than suffice if you're playing at 1440P

QUOTE(wuwah @ Oct 26 2013, 01:08 PM)
hi, I wonder this rig will do. comment?

CPU- i5 3330 RM539
Mobo- Asrock B75M DGS RM199
RAM- Kingstone 8GB value RM220
GPU- SAPPHIRE R9 280X RM1200+- (still not sure which one yet)
HDD- WD Blue 1TB RM189
PSU- CoolerMaster GX 550W RM219
-no ODD-
Casing- CM N200 RM150
-total- RM2716

- For game (SC2, Crysis(s), Batman(s), 'Steams', BFs, CODs, some small MMO, some new titles)
- Lots of photo editing (Photoshop, lightroom)
- I try to keep the price down, is the CM GX 550W good for this setup?
- In future, I might go dual monitor setup, does is cost power from my PSU?
- Also price wise, is it worth to use haswell processor by adding RM120 more by swapping i5 3330 with i5 4430 and Asrock B75 DGS with B85 Pro4? lets say I'm in tight budget sweat.gif
- GPU wise, is it worth to go for Toxic/Vapor-X version rather than cheapest OC-ed from Sapphire?
- 1600x900 monitor, and occasionally might use 1080p TV. might upgrade 1080p monitor in future also.
- no ODD since I got one already from old desktop. tested, still good eventhough been idle for 5 years sweat.gif

*addition* I'm building this hope that it can still be used in future photoshop version (4-5 years more). I don't actually care for ultra setting in game, I think in 2 years I appreciate if still can use medium

any comment/critique are highly appreciated.
