QUOTE(NecroPhilia @ Oct 3 2013, 10:57 PM) Anyway,Zotac brand reliable? You will need to register the extended warranty within 14 days of purchase in Zotac's official website for the offering, considered the longest warranty period branding in the market. |

Only VS series...The Hexa 500W would do, and the PoweRock 500W is fine (not the EX/KX series) |

Hey guys, I would like to know what I can improve to make my rig run BF4 smoother (tried the beta on the lowest of low settings and I still get frame drop) - do I upgrade my GPU, RAM, CPU or all of them?
Currently running Asus P7H55-M mobo Gigabyte GeForce GTX460 768mb (Prefer nVidia GPUs) 4GB ram (2x2GB) Core i5 760 @ 2.8GHz OC to 3.2 Xigmatek 500W PSU I can visit LYP, so Viewnet prices or something are a good guideline for me I guess. Say I have a budget of below RM1000, preferably not hitting the thousand mark. Tyvm! This post has been edited by #Fly: Oct 5 2013, 09:21 AM |

QUOTE(rav3n82 @ Oct 5 2013, 09:34 AM) Sorry I forgot to mention - It's the NRP-PC502 500WThanks for the suggestion. Stupid question though, how would I know that all this is going to fit with my current hardware (more specifically, my motherboard & cpu)? I plan to install them myself and try my best not to break things while doing it This post has been edited by #Fly: Oct 5 2013, 09:43 AM |

QUOTE(#Fly @ Oct 5 2013, 09:40 AM) Sorry I forgot to mention - It's the NRP-PC502 500W Looks like a pretty mediocre PSU then. If possible I will recommend getting a new 600W PSU to pair with your GPU, if possible. You can try Seasonic SII 620W at around RM299. It is also more future proof in case you plan to upgrade your GPU in future. Thanks for the suggestion. Stupid question though, how would I know that all this is going to fit with my current hardware (more specifically, my motherboard & cpu)? I plan to install them myself and try my best not to break things while doing it Dual channel means being able to run the memory in "dual channel" mode, e.g 2 x 4GB + 2 x 4GB. Total 16GB. You need to confirm what is the max supported RAM for your mobo. Running in dual channel mode is supposedly faster, but I've read somewhere that there is little to no actual gains in performance. So for your case, adding a single 4GB stick would do, making you have a total of 8GB RAM. |

Hi, can anyone suggest me a rig based on these,
[Budget] RM700-900 [Purpose] Just websurfing + movies and music listening. [Monitor resolution] full HD reso. Already got the monitor. [Game or software that use frequently] Most web-browsers, if able to handle light gaming is a plus. [Personal Preference Brand] Please suggest. None in my head. [Location] KL or Penang Is it possible to make a mini size rig with this budget or better for normal casing? (I prefer mini size rig though) |

The casing is mATX size, slightly smaller than mid tower.Casing price is different from a lot of aspects like expand features, mobility, build quality, size etc. Yes u can add GPU on the motherboard in future as long as your power supply can support. |

HDD still runs on 3gb/s speed even though u connect it to sata3 port. For mobo that support sata3 6gb/s interface, maybe ASROCK B75M-DGS RM199 or MSI B75MA-P45 RM229. |
