Increased? I saw it decreased. Before this 1131 now 1130 lol.. just oneĀ  ringgit decrease

Yeah i think they added rm285 delivery fees.. i dint see that previously.
This makes the price closw to buying from amazon directly.
Buying from amazon would retain warranty and 30 days return refund.

For dell visor on ezbuy you can use prime service which make shipping cost Rm18+8 only.
But to return back nees to go via them as well

Only for dell visor though. Other wmr need to use their buyforme services

Oh. I forgot bout that lol. But warranty might be an issue as its bound to the amazon account.

Hmm assuming wmr doesnt work out for u i suppose u could sell it second hand. And buy hopefully a new rift later?
U can still ask me what u need to know before buying

tried on rec room, payday 2, arizona sunshine and VRchat.

sword fighting and shields are usually fine..
Bows for me is fine on WMR but i heard issues with some players.. it depends how u naturally aim ur bow? front hand moves vs back hand moves and vertical bow vs horizontal bow.
but WMR tracking performed badly if i were to snipe, throw grenades,or aiming upwards with paintball.
quick hand movements like this is also impossible in WMR. Click Here
It takes like an extra half second for the WMR hands to stabilize before u can shoot. and that can make a difference in multiplayer games.

Game like 2md football vr should be a problem then? You need to throw a lot

unfortunately it is. WMR is the wrong headset to play that game. throwing with a WMR headset is based of the algorithm and prediction. unless u always look at ur throwing hand. But even so the tracking itself isnt that great. its not easy to get a precise position of the hands when its external tracker(the headset) is also consistently moving.
anyone who says throwing is perfect on WMR is outright lying. If i had to throw in WMR, i have to do it from bottom top or Frisbee style. That being said, i have also manage to trick the WMR into making unrealistic insane throws from back to front by jerking the my wrist. I can throw dodgeball at incredible speed and distance.

Sigh I'm torn in between rift and wmr

Want to get wmr for its higher resolution but worry about the controller wont be able to play some of the games I wanted to try , like golf vr. Need to do a lot of backspin on that.

But I see blunty demo play just fine though. Picking shield from the back what not

aiyoo..if u have extra cash just buy the Rift..you wont regret..the controller is perfect..the extra pixel resolution on wmr is only few hundred pixel differences ..u hardly notice once you inside the game

..i bet this exclusive Rift game 'The Climb' wont work on WMR controller..you will drop to dead once it not detect the controller presence sweat.gif

No SteamVR, and the main focus is kinda mobile vr.
No 6dof tracking, only 3dof, so you can't play a bunch of games properly even if it supports SteamVR at some point.

I think i would rather pick lenovo mirage instead of oculus go. At least that has some small positional tracking.

then you can get Oculus Rift + Touch, only 399USD, and cheaper during discount, for example ebay discount 20% yesterday.
But you need a powerful enough PC.

the point with Oculus Go is you don't need a powerful PC and you can use it anywhere including toilet time.

Oculus Go is like a standalone Gear VR without the need to purchase a Samsung flagship phone. Its somewhat compared to a perfected google cardboard VR but the lack of positional tracking makes immersion limited and may even cause motion sickness. Because of the limitation of a mobile hardware, i cannot run high end VR apps.
200 usd for 32gb and 250 for 64gb. I do not recommend 32gb bcoz good VR games would take a few gb. and ull also wanna space to store movies/series inside (assuming ur gonna use it for travelling).
Battery and cooling will be a major issue in these type of device.

the Rift games require GTX 960 (gc being the bottle neck in VR apps) with decent processor and ram. that being said, u can always lower the supersampling and activate asynchronous spacewarp.
but tbh unless u really want a portable VR without using a PC/laptop, i would still recommend to just go for AWMR or Lenovo explorer, which atm claimed optimized for GTX 1050TI and above.

Hi there guys. How are you? I'm into photographs and video productions and is planning to venture into 360 videos/photos via HMD. I'm hoping to obtain some suggestions from experts in the field for the HMD and laptop.

The HMD will mostly be used for viewing and experiencing immersive 360 high quality videos and photographs. Additionally, I would also like to tryout some VR games particularly Beat Saber.

My current budget is around 8k - 10k and I'm considering to get the HTC vive + Alienware 15 GTX1070. Do you think its overkill for such usage? A high resolution and smooth play of video with HMD is my utmost priority.

Thank you!

Vive and Rift are both established all rounder. But since u mentioned watching 360 high quality videos and photograph, a windows MR headset would give better image (but with significantly worst hand tracking).
which ever hmd u get, and also thinking of purchasing a new rig/laptop, i would recommend an i7 7700k with 16g ram, SSD and GTX 1070.
the graphic card almost always the bottle neck. even the GTX 1070 would demonstrate occasional drop frames. But not to worry as most developer would try their best to optimized games for at least a GTX 1060(for now), but if i were getting a new rig now, i would pick at least gtx 1070 or above to be safe for the next few years.

Thank you for the reply, FluffyTee.

Ahhh, I see. How far is the better quality image of WMR as compared to Vive / Rift?

Noted on the laptop spec with GTX1070.
