can i do direct swap with r3 gtx680m n r4 gtx675m?? swap everything with heat sink..n the copper pipe(i donno what its call)

they should share the same drivers. 3d enabled or not depends on your screen. just make sure you have the 3d screen connected to the right port on mobo. (there are 2 ports on our mobo, one is 3d the other non-3d)

not sure if the gpu heatsink is the same for r3 and 4.

Anyone with Alienware 14 can confirm with me please?

I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro, and under device manager > Sound, Video and Game Controllers > Intel ® Display Audio, it is being checked with a warning "!". I clicked on it, and it displayed:

STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE "

Tried installing a new driver update, and it says I have the latest one installed. Any idea how to work around this problem?

I just purchased new Alienware X51 last week and yesterday after I do another research about " NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 with 1.5G GDDR5 ", I read a thread that concern about GTX 760 from Dell. Actually GTX 760 in my X51 is not retail version and it was OEM. How far different OEM version and retail version for GTX 760? Trying to look at benchmark site but couldn't find what I want. Hope some one can clarify this. Thanks!

It's no different. It's the same card (exclude the ones which is custom overclocked). The warranty will be under Dell instead of the manufacturer of the card. If there's any issues, just call Dell for help.

Do you know how do I do it? Went to Intel's Page and they couldn't detect what hardware I have and which ones needed the upgrade.

Probably you could inform me what's the firmware version for the latest update so I could look it up?

I tried the Vindicator 17" on my M17x , its a very tight fit (tried it with the red cloth) , might need to get a Vindicator 18"

i don't have the keyboard covered because i think it will block the air flow for cooling purposes.

for the bag, you can consider everki titan. (it's for 18.4"). it has a lot of space.

hi guys, i just did windows 8.1 updates, and after that, the resolution and graphic especially on google chrome and firefox looks a bit cacat and harsh, any of you having same issue ?

i updated mine via the app store , did not encountered anything weird regarding resolution change or whatever, all works fine for me. The download and installation took awhile even on 20mb unifi.

Chrome only looks cacat if using the chrome app, well not cacat laa just not like normal , the normal chrome browser looks like normal.

I think maybe all your fonts and icons looks smaller due to higher resolution, you can change the size of the icons and text

i'm updating from Market Place too, and basically everything become bigger =\ resolution still same, but all the other windows become enlarged, no only in chrom, icon in My Computers, Control Panel and other too =\ oh well, and smiley face BSOD as well.
