Yes it does, while it is fast, LTE also drain the battery life faster and not to forget the quota.

but its not really stable or good... was with a fren using iphone. we tested with speedtest.net apps on the iphone. maxis lte connection... speed was less than 1mbps.

i used my 3g u mobile... almost clocked 2mbps.

but i'm sure it will stabilise over time. so yes, i agree with the argument that lte can wait another 1-2 years... i'm in no hurry to get an lte phone for now.

hmmm... so u r sayng because the video loads up faster, u end up haveing more time to load and watch more videos, that's y it is draining your quota faster?

when user download 1GB movie, then it's 1GB quota utilised, regardless of using 2G, 3G or LTE.

then to be fair, it's not the "fault" that LTE drains your quota faster. it's the user that's using more frequent of the data by utilising the faster LTE speed. it's is purely the user's choice to download more content or not.

The speed of lte is the reason your quota is utilised.usually you need few minute to dload on youtube while 4g you will get the file much faster the file size is still the same.the diff is you tendence to get more info or file using the lte cause your quota to fully utilised.correct me if i'm wrong

those who call user stupid for not buying LTE phones now should look themselves in the mirror n say the word

there are even some users who do not even subscribe to any data plan n used only wifi

I think telco need to revise their quota plan for lte for this.we should get more quota hence the price is maintain

i think u gonna look at the screen 1st, then got 1 symbol come out right? then when become green then u can start using, i think it detect ur eye level and ur face position. gonna really get used to it baru can use all those features, like the air view also , need to know at which level it can detect ur hand

How does lte use up quota faster? If file is 10mb whether on 3g or lte, it still downloads as 10mb mah. And lte has actually improved battery life on ip5.
I am constantly getting more than 10mbps on maxis lte and its very stable

The software in the S4 though has increased I do agree with some of the reviewers some are just gimmicky/does not perform 100% well. These are my findings so far :

AIR VIEW : Hopeless in webpage magnifier - unable to get it to work. OK but sometimes slow in Information preview. Faster just to tap on it. Probably good for those with dirty fingers !!! Progree preview in video playing is terrible - it really needs effort to get it working well. Easier to tap n slide across the video window

SMARTSCREEN : works well - smart stay, smart rotation, smart pause sometimes only, easier to press pause button . Smart Scroll - hopeless

Taking screenshot by swiping the screen is the WORST ( unable to get it done successfully with one take - half the time need up to 2-3 times only ). The S3, Note, Note 2  - always get it done in ONE time only

MOTION: Working well - Direct Call, Smart Alert - cannot get it to work even

Tilt : Zoom and Pan : Unable to get it working
TurnOver : mute/Pause : Unable to get it to work sometimes

Still exploring and feedback later other software features

#2. how does LTE use up quota faster? try downloading 10GB file using LTE (maybe 10 mbps connection) vs dial up of 56kbps... which one hits quota faster? #3. in regards to my fren's iphone getting less than 1mbps on masix lte in pj section 14... i guess my fren got a defective iphone5 then...
