Logically, I would also think the Exynos OcatCore would have a better battery life vs Snapdragon
The Octacore can revert back to the lower 1.2 Ghz processor for most light tasks and only use the 1.6 Ghz chip for more intensive operations. The Snapdragon will always operate at 1.9 Ghz. Practically we don't really know yet as the efficiency of the chip will also affect it

Samsung Mobile CEO tell us both are similar in performance

*
Htc one won't operate at 1.9ghz all the time. Linux has cpu scaling. For idle or light operation, cpu can scale down to 100mhz.

It's just that A7 is a more efficient cpu for lower load operation. For that reason, I think this big.little config of exynos triumph over SD600 in terms of power consumption.

agree..  but some of them will change their phone by 1yr 1 time smile.gif
and about LTE aka 4G , I'm agree...

Well depend on scenario, like stolen/damage and etc reasons.

Same can be said for Waterproof/dust-proof features. Good to have but currently normal user don't bother much about it.

My cousin, sell of his xz and go for S4 due to "viewing angle issue". He cannot stand it, and his bro is lucky to buy xz at cheaper price. sweat.gif

so far no .. but lte is not covered much lah
*
Thats bull lah. I am using iphone5 now a d the places i go to in MK and sunway, pj , BU all have LTE already on Maxis. By end of this year, coverage would have increased.

It would be stupid to buy the s4 now. Wait for the lte version

Lte speed is so much faster compared to 3g. Its like compare streamyx and unifi

Yes it does, while it is fast, LTE also drain the battery life faster smile.gif and not to forget the quota.

Nothing is future proof now day, most normal HP user will change the phone within 6-12months.

Plus LTE estimate will take 2-5 years to fully mature like 3g/H+.

With or without LTE for normal user they don't bother much about it.
*
The reason why I'm willing to get the non-LTE version (or any other phones for now)

Maybe my next phone in 2-3 years (my average change per phone)..hopefully LTE is matured enough in the country that I'll get an LTE ready phone

but its not really stable or good... was with a fren using iphone. we tested with speedtest.net apps on the iphone. maxis lte connection... speed was less than 1mbps. biggrin.gif

i used my 3g u mobile... almost clocked 2mbps. biggrin.gif

but i'm sure it will stabilise over time. so yes, i agree with the argument that lte can wait another 1-2 years... i'm in no hurry to get an lte phone for now.

eye scrolling should be called head tilting, because from what i've used of it, that's essentially what it is.

you tilt your head, the screen moves.

the good:
it works

the bad:
very sensitive.

if you hold the phone in your hands and adjust it slightly(by mistake), the scrolling will go haywire.

maybe there's a sensitivity setting to adjust, but out of the box it's just too sensitive.

so it works, but not perfectly.

for some people, no need to call stupid or etc naming doh.gif those "Stupid" people is the one running the phone industry (aka normal users)

by then note 3/4 or s5 or xperia xyz or iphone 6/7/8 already out and s4 or current LTE=middle spec phone spec? laugh.gif

U sound like those iphone fags trying to justify why they don't need this and that which Samsung has. Don't need to justify why u don't need lte. Just say no lte but it's ok. That's all.

What with name calling?

I said normal user. Which include myself. Normal user that just used the phone without the needs of rooting or etc mod.

What the problem if I justify my need or point of view in this forum?

Btw, FYI, I am using Galaxy Nexus 4 user while my husband is using Note 2.
