According to iStat, my battery's health was 98% when I first got it. I used coconut battery to check it and it said my battery had 5507 mAh (I'm using a 15.4" MBP). The most recent check I did with coconut battery says that I only have a battery capacity of 5433 mAh. Am I not doing something right? I usually allow the computer to discharge up to about 5 minutes of charge left before jacking her up. To be honest, it was at 5423 yesterday, and after a full charge, it's gone up 10 mAh. So should I be worried? iStat claims my battery health to be at 97% (it was 96% yesterday).
Also, my computers temp is usually between the 40 to 50 degree mark, but this one time after watching a whole load of youtube videos, it was all the way up to 70!! That totally freaked me out. Anybody else experience that? |

After bout an hour of movies, my MB is around 55-60 celcius. 70 is rather high i think. Whats your fan speed?
BTW, anyone here has problems where by while watching a movie the audio doesnt sync with the video? I watched the same episode of CSI on my PC. It was fine. I tried it on my MB with Quicktime and the audio was about 2 seconds slower. I tried it with VLC and it was bout 1 second slower? Any idea what's causing this problem? Doubt it's the file.. |

QUOTE(wjie20 @ Jul 2 2007, 01:24 PM) ic... The universal version is the version optimised for Intel macs. The versions in Creative Suite 3 are the universal ones. The ones in Creative Suite 2 are the non-universal ones.for number 1 i would try defrag and my hard disk is barely 60% full 2. i have 2 gigs of ram...and according to iStat its 1.23 gig free... 3. what do you mean universal version?free? And no, they are not free. |

Does anyone know where to get original Powerbook batteries? I have a 12" Powerbook 1.5 and I need a new battery. Does any official Mac store keep stock or are there any other sources?

I believe you'll have to get retailers to order the model for you. It should come with no cost premium over the matte MBP.Anyone have any experience with matte vs. glossy on the MBP? I'm still deciding for my summer purchase.. |

QUOTE(civic98 @ Jul 8 2007, 12:04 AM) Where did you asked RM200? It's RM109 only. Thats the price in Ikano & The Curve, the last time I went that is I saw RM 200 at a shop at Digital Mall. At least thats what is says on the price tag la. Is there any other 'non-standard' cable ar that does the same thing? But don't worry, it things get too hot, the chip will throttle itself, and if it still is getting too hot, it will force a shutdown. But do get smcFanControl, it's awesome. http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/23049 |
