because i was readhing the thread that some of the forumer got Core duo's black book at really cheap price, so i thought that since the performance was like 10% i could live with it while saving bit of money from it
if you're just browsing the net and stuff, then you won't feel the difference.

even if you do photoshop and all, it's not like 10% slower all the time that you use. even if you feel it, it's only when processing is involved.

if resizing takes 5 seconds, 10% is just 0.5 seconds which you actually won't feel.

Only if you're running graphic-intensive stuff or surfing graphic-intensive websites, games, and graphic-intensive videos. Other than that, like email, surf web like LYN should be okay, you wouldn't know the difference unless you pay good attention.

is that the reason why apple and itunes online are not opening here yet? hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

it is not good to steal stuff from developer that spends much effort and time on building software's that make our day... i am no software developer but i dont like my idea being use without my permission... think of it this way, if you honour the developers behind the great software you use, you are encouraging more creativity and ideas to spawn... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

please do not think that i use a lot of expensive software, in fact, 90% of the software that runs on my MBP is either open source or freeware... thanks to my friends, google... icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

of cause, once in a while i have to say, some software are better being paid then source for free alternative... sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Mac OS X 10.5 isn't slated for release until some time during the spring. You can grab it now and upgrade to Leopard later if you really need it.
