congratulations miniacs to be the 1st in LYN to get macbook
dont 4get to review ah! i want to know theirs cons Bahir. last time i upgraded my ibook's g4 ram from 256 to 640 i just go to lowyat and ask the shop can i try 1st b4 buy the ram, all of them dont want to, except 1 shop allow me to do that, so i take a stick of 512mb kingston ddr333mhz and put in my ibook and it runs wwell, i ended by just paying rm175 for 512mb kingston(lifetime waranty) if buy from apple, it cost r,390..damn expensive |

QUOTE(Bahir. @ Jun 2 2006, 10:10 AM) RM390 huh..? if thats the case, thats WAAAY better then the RM1,000 MacAsia were offering me for a RAM upgrade.. there's no apple-only-ram because all ram use in mac is the same ram used in pcs.. the different is apple test it on mac and it works so they charge us for the testing, that's why the price for lowyat's ddr2 1gb ram - around rm400 and apple-tested ram - rm1000.. how dare u apple cheat us your loyal customer The RAM for the MacBook is standard right..? i mean, does it use standard RAM or a special Apple only type of RAM..? so Bahir. it is better u bought a mac and when u want to upgrade, do it yourself |

QUOTE(kbandito @ Jul 12 2006, 02:38 AM) Is the RM4399 MB Vista ready? i know you love the smart design of MB but prefer to use XP right? I know XP is possible but how about Vista? Plus, can we use only XP but no Mac OS? To save space p/s: actually i love the aero themes in vista QUOTE(artyca @ Jul 12 2006, 02:17 PM) lokgotz and vendetta... like i said b4 you can customized it to save disk space, eg: dont have to install other languages unless you understood spanish or portugese, dont have to install all printers if you only use canon printers, dont have to install garage band and imovie if you only use iphoto and iweb and so on.. gudluck I ran a Get Info yesterday to check out the memory that's taken up by Mac OS X.... 5GB is spent on system files, 7GB is used for application files and a humongous 9-10GB is used for library files!!! Damn... i didn't know that Mac OS X is soooo huge! kbandito... why do u wanna buy a MB when u wanna run Vista OS ?? Might as well just get a Dell or a Fujitsu laptop... QUOTE(supafreak @ Jul 12 2006, 02:55 PM) this person sells MB at incredibely cheap price.. check it out http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...1027&hl=useless |

i also confusing about that for a long time now found someone thinking like i think,i also curious will it afect the battery ife if we plug on the adapter while using the notebook(with the battery full charged!)
actually after calibrate my battery i take it out and use this MB with power adapter only and i found that unlike my old ibook, this MB dont have to set up the time and date everytime you turn off your MB and the adapter also p/s: you guys understood what i said, right? |
