i dont own a fiesta

but i own a preve cfe

for quality build. i see fiesta is more nice. the door trim is perfectly made. the seat is comfortable.
for safety preve cfe in malaysia i dont think can get 5 star NCAP rating..are u sure that rating for malaysia model? or australian model with 6 air bag in there. plus if u buy the special edition fiesta s, comes with 7 airbag and leather seat.
handling and performance im no comment for fiesta s, never tried drive it
but for preve, handling and performance good. im no problem with handling and the performance of my current cfe preve..only the problem are the quality..

just got my preve executive!  rclxms.gif

question 101 / noob question from a new driver like me  biggrin.gif .

what is the best tyre pressure for preve? SA told me to pump 300 for all 4 tyres (city drive). but i noticed the sticker at the door stated 220. he told me not correct.

all preve sifu, please enlighten me.

thanks
*
wow 300kPa..haha
i also dont really know but my SA said just follow the sticker, but i pump a bit more. front tyre 235kPa and rear tyre 225kPa
300kPa afraid to stiff..dont u feel bumping? plus 300kPa around 43PSI..remember standard Champiro Bax2 Tyre Pressure Max is 50PSI. i think quiet dangerous rite?

The Preve Hatchback is coming, with leather seats, front, rear parking sensor, if not mistaken. If you are not that urgent to get a car

Quality - Fiesta
Features - On par.
Handling - On par. Preve is more stable, Fiesta is more nimble.
Safety - Preve CFE vs Fiesta S, Preve wins. Preve CFE vs. Fiesta S XTR / Beta or Fiesta Sedan, Fiesta wins.
Performance - Preve wins if high speed rolling start, Fiesta wins if pickup from low speed. If hill climbing, Preve has the upperhand. But this is just in theory, have never raced with Preve before.
Practicality - Preve. Fiesta S has tiny boot and small cabin.
Fuel Economy - Fiesta

If you are looking for a family car, no point looking at the Fiesta. Like other said, wait for the Preve hatchback and see what Proton has to offer.

EDIT: Oh another thing, despite having 6-spd dual clutch, the Fiesta has no manual mode.

i survey the fiesta before, but the rear seat space and seat angle really puts me off... sweat.gif
anyway, fiesta should not the ideal choices if tended to look for family car especially planned to have your own baby for the next 5-10 years...
C segment car for the practically... so i will choose forte/K3 or preve instead, but budget still part of main priority to save money for my family...

just simple info since i just test a drive 1.6sx forte. for about 20minutes test drive.

Quality - Forte 1.6sx go check yourself
Safety - Forte 1.6sx
Spacious Cabin - Preve CFE
Comfort - Forte 1.6sx - No hearing Wind Noise, more comfort seat, more lowered
Steering/Handling - Preve CFE
Performance - Preve CFE, but i think its acceptable forte 1.6sx not too slow..much better than my last campro 1.6.so i think ok la..haha (maybe the 17inch rims affecting the performance too)
Stability taking Corner - Forte 1.6sx (kurang rasa buang) maybe if preve standard Anti Roll Bar not so good
Price - Preve CFE... BUT what u pay is what u get...get ready to make weekly or monthly visit to SC if ur car got like my car.haha

Forte 1.6sx- imo, nice car than preve, look more stunning, quality interior and exterior. dont know giving much problem or not?
Preve 1.6 CFE - ok ok car. but cheap less 12k - 13k than forte 1.6sx, but unlucky me my preve many little2 problem..so many little problem will make a big problem to me. mad.gif

Recommended cold tyre pressure is front 32psi, rear 30psi.
Somehow I found 32/30 pretty soft, I usually pump 34/32 or 34/33 instead.

300kpa certainly too much for Preve, u will lose grip when the tyre get too hard. Dangerous especially in raining day

coolant leakage are not normal...
instead it should overflow back to water tank instead if the water pressure are too high due to temperature, but leaking from not from the piping joint...

AMO, good cooling system maybe doesn't require refill radiator up to 3-6 months at all or refill every 5000-10000 km while car servicing... smile.gif

but seem the clip changed to screw type instead? i think almost no possible for leakage... as believe the previous clip are no strong enough to handle the pressure...
