Agreed.. The past is the past. Since now black out is their way of playing, then damn them for being so coward.

TNB Careline has officially replied that NO BLACK OUT WHATSOEVER reported on 05.05.2013. The Screen Shot was acidentally left at home this morning but hell.. What good would that do now..

However, driving my White Knight around the polling areas still makes ppl turn and have a look. Got 1 police who's on stand by came and asked, where did u get that bodykit cos still cannot find in Terengganu.... I smiled and reply go to mudah.my and u'll find it.

(Still not OOT right?) tongue.gif

Good Morning fellas!  wub.gif

The current saga actually also quite a lot of money. Lol

Original saga is a sub 40k car. Now is 45k car, if the special 1.6 variant to be singled out.

I think most probably the new preve should be another "SE" variant.
*
Dulu RM50k can buy Wira with softtouch dashboard. Now can buy Saga oni sad.gif

just want to ask your opinion , 8k + for all those feature ... worth or not ?  biggrin.gif
*
With these added?

17inch alloy rims
Reverse camera
front & real sensor parking sensor
Leather seat
6 air bag

I would consider it if it is priced at RM80k. What I really would like to see on the Preve is

Hill Launch assist (the one that uses brakes, not throttle control that slips the clutch and probably fry it prematurely.)
REAL DRLs, not positioning lights.

And if the hatchback is coming, will R3 please release some performance parts for it already.

well, back then the Savvy is under the supervision of a German TUV something...

look what has it became now...
*
TUV was there to do QC only, and only for the earlier batches.

Rumor was, Proton never paid TUV for their services/consultation.

guys... im in a dilemma right now... huhu... i am thinking of buying a new car... i got a honda accord 96... (may not sell... n use it as car to have fun with)... but now want to buy a new car...

Which one is better... preve cfe or Ford Fiesta s... i know they are in different league... i just need to compare quality, features, handling, safety, and performance...
this is what I found so far... Please preve owners... do not hesitate to comment more...
*
Quality - Fiesta
Features - On par.
Handling - On par. Preve is more stable, Fiesta is more nimble.
Safety - Preve CFE vs Fiesta S, Preve wins. Preve CFE vs. Fiesta S XTR / Beta or Fiesta Sedan, Fiesta wins.
Performance - Preve wins if high speed rolling start, Fiesta wins if pickup from low speed. If hill climbing, Preve has the upperhand. But this is just in theory, have never raced with Preve before.
Practicality - Preve. Fiesta S has tiny boot and small cabin.
Fuel Economy - Fiesta

If you are looking for a family car, no point looking at the Fiesta. Like other said, wait for the Preve hatchback and see what Proton has to offer.

EDIT: Oh another thing, despite having 6-spd dual clutch, the Fiesta has no manual mode.

what CVVT mean? i tot forte use CVT too since it show CVVT on the engine spec...haha
different aa? haha
*
CVVT = Continuously Variable Valve Timing

It's engine tech, not gearbox. Something like Toyota's VVT-i

different car mah... but i think CFE exhaust extrator facing the firewall side side?
AMO, the extractor facing the firewall have louder "tick" or "tiak" sound compare to facing the radiator side...

maybe the sound "echo" by the surround engine bay... tongue.gif
or maybe higher cc car have higher temperature compare to lower cc car...
*
Like every Campro car, Preve's extractor faces the radiator, directly underneath the turbocharger.

Not all Malaysian lucky enough to afford two cars of global brand. Maybe you can, but I dont.

Wira (during its prime) give me almost no trouble on overall, and zero trouble on the engine side. That was my 2001 Wira 1.3 manual that i use during my university days.

Perhaps because Wira was just a rebadged model?
*
Even being a rebadged Mitsu, Wira is not without it's faults. One of the popular ones is the adhesive under the bonnet that corrodes the bonnet itself and faulty central locking, among others. Some of these defects continue to plague the Wira into the 2000's.

Imagine that, the car launched in early 90s but the defects were not corrected for a decade. Other than that, the engine has not given any problem. I had 2 Wiras at home, one carb and one EFI, both were reliable workhorses with the occasional quality related issues that my dad handled.

Of course, Proton has improved nowadays since the feedback loop is much quicker compared to 10 years ago. There is still much room for improvement, though.

whats even more horrifying is after the turtled car being "unturtled", it doesn't have any sign of it being turtled before.
wait, horrifying isn't the right word. Should be amazing. tongue.gif
*
I passed by and saw the car after it was unturtled. Honestly, can't tell that it turtled at first glance. The only hint was the shattered windshield.

Can't brain how it turtled in the first place, though. rclxub.gif
