I am having the same problem, high latency and speed seems to drop.

it starting at 8pm while i was playing BF3 before my ping was 42 below then after 8pm suddenly up to 145+
i restart router reset ip , change DNS also same , and package is 10mb , even using their speedtest web my speedtest cant go up to 5mb

It's a routine problem, Maxis just wants to give us some sort of sh!t every few months. It happens consistently and now I can't even speak to their customer care consultant because the line is busy.

What if I use VPN?

should be able to bypass. make sure it's encrypted vpn.

for P2P cap hour 8pm-2am
for now the problem is we are having low speed and high ping problem
it start at 8pm just now ...
even DDL also effected

hopefully they are not capping DDL to...it will be totally out of mind if they did that...


10mb package , sometime speed drop to 300kbps and totally not stable

guys, same problem here, currently on 10mbps package.

Goodness me, it's still slow like shit! Even worse now, in fact! Reminds me totally of when I had the 512kbps plan from Streamyx, maybe even worse. I can't even load a freaking picture! Screw this, I'm going to bed. Hopefully by noon tomorrow it'll be fixed.
Maxis really knows how to piss off their customers and pull off shit like this.
Oh well, I don't think they can ever out-do and pull off a decision even more stupid than the torrent capping between 8PM-2AM. Need to find a solution for that though, guys...

my friend using Unifi also same problem ping 200+
but not confirm yet i need to ask another unifi user to confirm this

mine 106ms ping at less than 1mbps....

been using unifi for quite some time no issues except those global down time stuff

maxis is always having ping issue? thought switching to maxis because of the speed and price but i guess thats for the price u pay

same problem here, user from kepong start from 8-9p.m just now...speedtest only got max 1mb download but 10mb upload.... ╰_╯╰_╯

Update: speed back to normal this morning, tested on 8a.m.

before this im a maxis broadband user.quite satisfied with the services.but dont know their home fibre really this bad.

Hey guys..want to ask something..the maxis 100mb network quota monthly pass..is it 100mb per day? Or 100mb per month? Lol..if its 100mb per month..I would find hotlink 100mb per day / rm2 extremely worth cuz if u add them up..

You mean maxis fiber? It's 100000mb/month or 100gb. And no quota imposed now so it's unlimited.
